Welcome to Aluo’s Guesthouse and Trekking Lodge!

Aluo’s Guesthouse is located in Dímáluò, a remote valley, partly spread along a tributary of the Nù Jiāng (Angry River) in the North West of Yúnnán province, South West China. To find out where Dímáluò is and how to get there go to the Location page. The Nù Jiāng valley appeals to tourists looking for off the beaten track experiences and Aluo’s Guesthouse serves as an excellent place from which to explore the area. Dímáluò and other nearby places such as Bǐngzhōngluò and Gòngshān share a unique local culture, which can also be explored. Go to the Dímáluò page for more information.
While staying at Aluo’s guesthouse or simply if using it as a stopping off point on part of a trek, Aluo (阿洛) and his family will do all they can to make guests feel at home. Accommodation is simple but all modern needs are catered for. Service is always with a smile and delicious local food is prepared at the guesthouse and on treks.
Aluo has led treks to Tibet and Déqīn County since 1998. He now owns the only guesthouse in the village and organizes a large-scale trekking service. Currently, tourists can choose from two three-day routes. Aluo works with a large local team who carry bags or lead pack mules along trekking paths.
