Previous Models

The 2006/2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Only a few changes were made to the beloved Cruiser. New headlights, bumpers, grille, and interior.

The PT Cruiser GT enters 2006 with more the original GT Cruiser look. With aluminum turbine wheels carried over from last years Dream Cruiser Conv. A new dashboard shared by all 2006 Cruisers, this look is catching on. I am sad to see the two-tone paint scheme discontinued, but there's still a lot to love.

The 2006 convertible is at your local Chrysler dealer, take it for a spin. One thing I did notice on the previous version, is the doors are a lot heavier.

Cruiser Series

The PT Cruiser Classic adds a touch of class, or should I say Couture Edition. The color scheme will be Black Crystal Pearl with an accent red pinstripe. Thi along with chromed body-side moldings, door handles, 16-inch polished aluminum wheels and grille highlight makes it stand out from the others. The interior will feature all-new Radar Red leather or Dark Slate Gray seats along with a Satin Silver instrument panel. While reckoning back to early hot rods it keeps step with PT's before it.

The 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser Couture Edition is $19,995, which includes the $720 destination should arrive at dealers soon. Don't miss this one, for it may be our last chance.

Concepts, Toys and Links

These patented sketches by Chrysler suggest they are now considering a two door, or panel version.

The latest to come down the road, and all the way from California. Introducing the California Cruizer, a view into a view design changes. Okay, it's really the headlights for now, but not the glass roof. If Chrysler is looking for a redesign, this would be a good choice.
Also the PT Coupe concept car would make a nice addition to the line.
A nice custom from SEMA and more of the PT Coupe concept car.

Chrysler is getting into another possible model. This is a all wheel drive cruiser in testing. Note the ground clearance compared to the current model. Only time will tell, because you can bet Chrysler won't. At least not until the "Big Sky AWD" version was seen for the first time.

These appear with thanks to motortrend.com and Brenda Priddy & Company

Toys and Links

Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, Muscle Machines, and even Jada all have their versions of our beloved PT. Check your local discount store, or toy store to get yours. If you have not seen this at the toy store, keep looking. There is a new variant of the Pronto coming from Hot Wheels. It will be part of the "Star and Stripes Series". Also look for several version of the Cruiser from Muscle Machines toy cars, including red, white, and blue versions.
