PICTURE TIME!!!

Ahh, the fine art of scrapbooking.  And we of the feline breeds know how to organize our pictures into scrapbooks we will remember forever.  Found below are some of the albums the Thundercats have put together for future generations.  Please note that the subject of a given scrapbook was not consulted during the creation of the album, allowing for completely unbiased opinions as well as a few creative liberties.  And now...on to the scrapbooks!

Thundercat Books
Cheetara's Book

This particular scrapbook was put together with the combined talents of Panthro, Tygra, and Lion-O.  Throughout the project, the trio invested countless hours of careful documentation and looked up the record of events to ensure they could accurately place each and every picture.  Having done that, they scrapped the whole thing and made it up as they went along.  Much to Cheetara's dismay, this is the product of their efforts.  The psychic speedster made every possible attempt to destroy this album before it could find its way to the printer, but all was in vain.  With a surprising burst of speed from the Thundertank, Panthro triumphed and this book came to be.
The Lord of the Thundercats Unplugged

In an act of mutiny and treason, the Thundercats ordered Snarf to accompany Lion-O on a journey to the Berbil village and make sure he stayed there for most of the afternoon.  During that time, this photo album was created.  It says something for the dedication of the Thundercats, too.  The Thundercat signal flashed into the sky several times during this album's creation, but the creators continued to work on it while they left Lion-O to battle a giant lizard, two hungry gorillas, a mutant attack, a horde of angry wasps, and the return of Safari Joe.  When Lion-O returned home and approached the other Thundercats about it, this work was their explanation.
Snarf Under Scrutiny

Often seen as the wimp, the coward, and the comic-relief on the Thundercat Team, Lion-O, Lynx-O, and Snarfer took it upon themselves to inform Third Earth of the true nature of Snarf, whatever that may be.  There were sincere efforts to make this biography highly complimentary, but those efforts disappeared after the first page.  The original goal of paying tribute to a life-long friend quickly vanished as the trio found rather interesting pictures of Snarf, a.k.a. Osbert.  They decided that wasting a perfect opportunity to make fun of Snarf would be a serious crime, so they didn't.  Ownership of this scrapbook is now a federal offense on some planets where a snarf majority dominates the population.
Tiger Tales

Braving hostile threats from the subject of this album, Panthro, Bengali, and Pumyra met in secret to arrange and critique pictures of the Thundercats' architect: Tygra.  Having been involved in the creation of several albums himself, Tygra knew full well what it meant to be immortalized in one of the infamous scrapbooks now in rapid production and tried to ensure that an album of himself was never created.  At one point, Panthro, Bengali, and Pumyra considered asking RedEye to stand guard while they tried to complete this book, but eventually they managed to detect and hide from the invisible tiger long enough to finish on their own.  The resulting brawl between two tigers, a puma, and a panther was not a pretty sight.
Beyond the Stripes...

Never mistaken for the shy one, Bengali vehemently protested the creation of this picture album and did everything in his power to prevent its existence.  He failed.  With the combined forces of Lion-O, Tygra, and Pumyra, Bengali was analyzed from every conceivable angle and his best (or worst, depending on how you look at it) characteristics were selected to be placed in this book.  The creators of this book decided to match Bengali's usual bluntness with their own abandonment of propriety and discreetness, making for a very unusual book.
The Portrait of a Warrior

Garnering respect for himself even from the mutants, Panthro is the strength and the backbone of the Thundercat team.  Unfortunately, that did not render him immune from the criticisms and good-natured jokes found in the Thundercat Scrapbooks.  Noting that Panthro had participated in many scrapbooks and that he himself was mysteriously absent as the brunt of the jokes, Cheetara, Tygra, and Bengali teamed up to remedy the situation.  The result was this album, a book that cost many a bruise and tussle with an angry panther bent on vengeneace.
Ghost Stories

He was Lord of the Thundercats before Lion-O's time and he continues to watch over and protect the Eye of Thundera today.  But that doesn't mean the other Thundercats can't have a little fun at his expense.  While Jaga is filled with sage wisdom and advice, he is also full of personality quirks and the occaisional compromising moment.  So Lion-O, Panthro, and Cheetara joined forces and created Ghost Stories, a Thundercat Scrapbook that takes a look at the Thundercats' guardian: Jaga.  Jaga's appearances after publication of this scrapbook went downhill dramatically.
Twin Trouble

Often overlooked and underappreciated, the Thunderkittens are nonethelesss part of the Thundercat team.  They are sometimes an unorthodox part of the team,  but they are still team players.  And as team players, the Thundercats thought it appropriate that they be treated like the rest of the team.  So Wiley Kit and Wiley Kat were sent outside to play while the adults divided up pictures of the twins.  Bengali, Cheetara, and Lynx-O took Wiley Kit; Lion-O, Pumyra, and Snarfer took Wiley Kat; Panthro, Tygra, and Snarf handled the twins as a team; and they all banded together to get this book off to the publishers before it could vanish in the blast of a carefully thrown pellet.
The Unknown Puma

One of the more obscure characters in the Thundercat universe, Pumyra remains something of an enigma even to those who know her best.  Naturally, this intrigued potential scrapbookers because without any certifiable facts about the puma, just about anything could go in her album.  No one would know any better.  Of course, that would assume the reader had lost complete touch with reality, but when considering most of the inhabitants of Third Earth, that wasn't a problem.
Snarfer's Moment

As a rather late edition to the Thundercat team, Snarfer sometimes felt left out and unwelcome.  Whether or not this was actually the case is difficult to say, but the Thundercats decided that one of the best ways to make up any possible offenses was to include Snarfer and  immortalize him in a scrapbook.  Snarfer had a few things to say about that, but his protests went unheard and the little snarf became a part of the growing albums of Thundercats.
A Look at the Blind
Updated 9/17/01

His enemies never quite understood Lynx-O, and this scrapbook certainly won't help, either.  But the Thundercats appreciated him.  Whether through wisdom, courage, or cunning, Lynx-O was always there, never shirking his role as a Thundercat and pushing the Thundercat team onward to new heights and new victories. To show their appreciation, three of them created this scrapbook. As Lynx-O observed, they have a funny way of showing their gratitude.

Mumm-Ra and Company

A Pictorial Guide to Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living

In an effort to increase Third Earth awareness concerning Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, Cheetara, Bengali, Wiley Kit, and Wiley Kat combined their various writing and photographic skills to capture everyone's favorite villain on camera and explain some of his habits, powers, and weaknesses.  Mostly an informative work, Bengali and the Thunderkittens did manage to sneak in some comments that escaped Cheetara's attempts to keep a formal air around this project.  So if you're looking for information on Mumm-Ra, the Pictorial Guide is the place to go.
Grune the (fill in the blank)...

Though he died before the destruction of Thundera, the former Thundercat known as Grune continued to play a prominent role in the lives of the surviving Thundercats.  To commeorate, honor, and whatever else these scrapbooks do to their victims, Tygra, Panthro, and Cheetara assembled together and composed this album. It cannot be said that they had the best intentions in mind when working on this collection of pictures, but they had fun in the process.

Lunatac Pictures

Life of a Leader

It isn't easy commanding a group of rather questionable mercenaries and psychotics, but such is Luna's lot in life.  And realizing that they had been ignoring some important enemies, the Thundercats decided that the scrapbook library simply had to be expanded. And how better to start the expansion than to examine the life of the Lunatac leader? Luna could think of better ways, but she wasn't consulted.

Mutant Memories

REMBERING SLITHE

As leader of the mutants, Slithe had to put up with a lot. Not only did he have to contend with the Thundercats, but he was also the voice of the mutants with Mumm-Ra and the mutants' disciplinarian.  But one thing Slithe didn't anticipate was the power of a scrapbook.  Unfortunately for him, Tygra, Cheetara, and Panthro are all too familiar with a scrapbook's power and decided that if they had to endure one, so did Slithe.
Jackalman's Life

He was considered a coward and a weakling, but Jackalman was a dangerous mutant nonetheless.  Of course, that didn't stop Lion-O, Lynx-O, and Bengali when they set out to make a scrapbook about the jackal. It was just part of the adventure.  Lynx-O did attempt to curtail the activities of the scrapbookers, but Lion-O and Bengali used their youthful enthusiasm to get some hilarious shots of the poor canine.
Dreams of a Scientist

The mutants didn't have a lot of brains in their group. Some argue that they had a certain amount of cunning, but that doesn't equal intelligence.  However, they were not at a complete disadvantage as far as brains were concerned.  They did have Vultureman.  Was this a good thing or a bad thing?  You'll have to judge that for yourself, but Panthro, Tygra, and Bengali are there to help you do it.

Never fear, for more scrapbook pictures are on their way.  Until that time, go on back to the main menu.
