I should point out that this is not a work of fiction.
There may be times when it appears that the authors of this book making
things up out of thin air, but they're not. Though it may seem impossible,
everything they say is true. This can be explained by the fact that
Jackalman has led a confused and lost life. Denied the size and bulk
of the other mutants, he had to fall back on cunning and intelligence.
But unfortunately, his plans tended to go awry and the poor mutant lost
what little self-confidence he once had. He began doing odd things
and new personalities took shape on top of the original. With this
in mind, please keep a sympathetic place in your heart for Jackalman as
Lion-O,
Bengali, and Lynx-O
tell his story.
