REMEMBERING SLITHE Forward This was not my idea and I publish this book in protest. I
have warned the Thundercats that insulting their enemies is not a good
way to make peace, but they seem to ignore my advice and do things their
own way. Mumm-Ra was one thing, having lived so long that very little
gets through his thick skin and wrappings. Grune was another thing
since he's dead. But the mutants...for me that was going to far.
Apparently Tygra, Cheetara,
and Panthro felt differently, and Panthro
was most insistent that I publish this book. His tactics of "persuasion"
were reminiscent of Spanish Inquisition techniques, but I'm not here to
complain. I'm just explaining that this was not my idea and retribution
would be wasted on me.
