For our Thanksgiving Break, we travelled northwest about nine hours on the train to the resort area of Baravoe. This area is hilly and wooded, an unusual sight in a country which is predominantly flat and grassy. We rented a cabin near a sizeable lake. It was quite cold during our stay there, and, unfortunately, the heat wasn't working in most of the rooms.

Thanksgiving Dinner We celebrated Thanksgiving with quite a feast. Included: 3 turkeys, 20 lbs mashed potatoes, 4 pies...
