Books
I recommend
These are several books I have,
(or don't) that I like and have read, or have come with excellent recommendations
from other Wiccans I know.
-
1. Wicca: For the Solitary Practitioner
by Scott Cunningham, A fantastic book for all beginners. Everything you
need to know and he is very open minded in his writing. He makes allowances
for all tradtions and ways of practicing.
-
2. Living Wicca: a further guide for the solitary
practioner by Scott Cunningham, Again he goes through tons of
info that anyone can understand.
-
3. To Ride a Silver Broomstick by Silver
RavenWolf, She is fantastic as far as giving a slightly different point
of view than Cunningham's, but excellent nonetheless. She uses more graphics
and easier set but not as openminded as Cunningham.
-
4. To Stir a Magic Cauldron by Silver
RavenWolf, The sequel is just as good as the first and there is a third
as well.(but silly me forgot the name)
-
5. Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Crystel, Gem, and
Metal Magic, easier to read than most, this points out
magical properties of crystels, gems, and metals. Full of info, it takes
a while to study, but well worth it in the end.
-
6. Wicca Candle Magick by Gerina Dunwich,
Well written and never dull, Dunwich helps all wiccans to understand the
many number of things you can do with candles. From Candle magic, colors,
and divination, it is a great source for Candle lovers.
