At nighttime light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the fire. Write on a piece of paper that is 3 inches x 3 inches, the words BAD LUCK. Then write down any bad things you do not like in your life right now. Then draw a big X across the paper with a black marker. While doing this you should be thinking of how all these things are going to disappear from your life, never to return! Place the paper in the fire and repeat the following words 3 times..."Fire, fire burning bright
Turn my darkness into light!
Take away my bad luck ill,
Bring me nothing but goodwill.
Bad luck came and stayed to long,
Be gone forever, be gone, be gone!
With this fire burning bright,
Bring me good luck, bring me light!"
"SO MOTE IT BE!"After repeating these words 3 times, sit for a few minutes and concentrate on the bad luck being gone and the good luck coming your way! When you are done extinguish the fire.
Money*~Simple Money Spell~*
Items needed
- Green candle with rune symbol of money and prosperity etched in the side
- Cinnamon oil
- Objects that represent money (jewelry, coins, dollar bills, etc.)1: Anoint the candle with the oil, and place in candleholder.
2: Place the items that represent money in a circle around the candle.
3: Light the candle and visualize a green mist or light coming from the flame. In the mist or light visualize silver coins floating around.
4: Now use your hands and grab as many coins as possible.
5: Finally, chant the following:
Rich I'll be, money and prosperity come hither to me.
Let the candle burn out.

With clove or cinnamon oil, trace a money symbol or rune on the largest denomination of bill that you have. Put this in your wallet and resist spending it for as long as you can. Every time you look at the bill, visualize the rune to reinforce its power.Money Spell
An effective candle spell for wealth and prosperity utilizes two black candles since black draws in all color and energy in the universe. Etch you name and the words money, wealth, riches and any other words of power along the sides of the candles.
Then light the candles and grasp them firmly in your hands until you feel your pulse throbbing beneath your fingers-a sign that your aura is mingling with the candles’ auras and that your intentions are firmly grounded in the candles.
Project for what you want, saying, "These candles bring me wealth and riches."

Join with us!"You will want to anoint the pink with Good Luck oil all the while thinking of the friends that you want to make. Imagine yourself laughing with them, going out with them. Really see yourself with them.
After your candle has been anointed, you may light it. At this point you may call out the things that are important to you in a friend: honesty, trust, open mindedness (important for every Wicca!), humor, whatever. As you light the candle, see the flame as being the energy that burns between any two close friends.
When this is completed, take your two pieces of silk ribbon and weave them together. Simply winding them around each other will do. While you do this, think of bringing that friend closer to you. This binding process is reminiscent of pagan hand fasting rituals. You are binding that friend to you, making them loyal to you, a way any good friend should be. You DO NOT want to bind a specific person to you, as that kind of magick is harmful since is harms the other person's free will. Only bind the idea of the perfect friend to you.
Once you have done this, tie the ribbon to the base of your candle as best as you can. The candle's light is a beacon to bring friendship to you and another person.
When this is done, you may wish to sit and meditate on the spell that you have just cast, sending your energies out to bring that perfect friend to you. When you feel that your spell has been completed, then it has. Let your candle burn all the way out and release your circle, thanking the Goddess and the God."Lady and Lord, I thank you for your presence, your Love and Light! Dreams
*~Clear Dreams Pillow~*
Because of its connection with Artemis and moon energy, mugwort is affiliated with the dream world. A favorite "dream time" herb, it is used in dream pillows, as a dream tea, and in dream balms to rub on the temples at night. It does activate and stimulate the dreams of many women and seems to help one to journey into the moon-time world. To make a dream pillow, fold a piece of 8" x 8" fabric in half, and then sew two of its sides together, leaving one side open for stuffing. The fabric should be beautiful and soft. (Cotton and velvet are lovely to use.) Often women choose to embroider these pillows with moons and stars. Stuff the pillow with a dried mixture of:4 parts mogwart
1 part lavender
1 part hops
1 part chamomile
1-part rosesSew the pillow closed and place next to your head at night. Fluff it before sleep to release the odors.

First make a tea of yarrow of mugwort. Drink it and try to concentrate on clearing your mind. Then sit in the meditating position and have 5 white or blue candles around you in the pentagram fashion. Then chant the following:Bringer of good and light
Bring to me peace of mind tonight.
By the mother and father and all that is good
Help me with the things not understood.Afterwards blow all the candles out and meditate for a half hour.
*~To Protect From Nightmares~*
Fill a small pillowcase with anise seeds, dragon's blood, and lavender and place the pillowcase under your pillow when you go to sleep. Ask the Celtic Goddess, Mare (MAH-re), the bringer of dreams to only bring you nice dreams.
Negativity*~Spell to banish Negativity~*
An excellent spell is to simply to take a hot bath and delicately place an egg in the tub with you. Be careful not to break it, just let it gently float around in the tub with you and banish your negative energy, whether it be sorrow, pain, fear, anger, stress, worry, etc. When you exit the tub allow the water to drain before removing the egg.Cold Heart Spell
This spell is to banish the negative energy of another's.

As this ice melts, the truth will appear,
Pushing away all that you fear.
If gossip lies at the root of this
This little spell shall not miss
And then I shall expose the liar.

Repeat the last line as long as possible. When you have finished, let the ice melt into warm water. Flush the water down the toilet saying:

This spell is to stop gossip/lies.

The Spell:
This should be done in Circle. Proceed with your normal ritual, then cleanse, consecrate, and empower all items for protection.
Draw a big tongue on the felt. Cut out the tongue. Write the person who spread rumors about you on the tongue with the marker. If you don't know who the culprit is, write: "Whoever is spreading gossip". Take the embroidery thread and sew along the lines of the writing. With each stitch, say:
"I tie your tongue, you nasty one,
so you can harm no more."
When you've finished, cut the thread and say:
"I push your evil away from me,
whatever you sent to me,
goes back to thee."
Tie the tongue in a big knot and say:
"Guardian angel (or God/dess),
please protect me from this person's gossip.
Send back their negative energy."
Put the tongue in the jar, seal the jar, and say:
"I confine your evil to yourself.
May Spirit help you deal with your own low self esteem."

The spell:
Write the name of the person who's bothering you on the piece of paper. Draw the Rune "Isa" next to the name. Fold the paper into a small square and put into the baggie. Seal the baggie. Open the freezer door and say:
"Chill out!"
Throw the paper in the freezer and shut the door. Say:
"Frost Giants, please sit on _____ so they won't bother me anymore."
Warning: if you take the baggie out, they'll start up again. Keep it in there until the coast is clear. This spell never hurts anyone.*~Wishing~*
I would do this in Circle, by preference - you don't need anything other than yourself in order to cast a Circle, I often do so as a visualization exercise when I am having trouble sleeping, laying a protective circle around my bedroom (I had symbols of the 4 Elements on the appropriate walls, for years, in support of a standing Circle of protection around my bedroom) or around the house.As you tie the knots, visualize the things you want to have happen. You may visualize each step of what needs to happen, one knot for each step, or just focus on a single end.
How many knots you tie is up to you. I tend to go for 9 (3 x 3, a sacred number, in my Tradition and beliefs), but what is important is to use a number that has meaning to you, and is adequate to truly fix your Will in place with each knot.
This isn't something for nothing - as you dedicate your Will to your purpose, you dedicate yourself as well. As each opportunity arises, you must follow through on it. You cannot do this half-heartedly, it won't work.
Leave the cord tied when you are done - if it is protective magick for the home, you can bury it under the doorstep, for instance, but in this case, I might put it in the suitcase you would use only if you moved, using the symbolic magic of that association to lend weight to your spell.

*~Good Luck House Charm~*
You will need:
One piece of blue or white cloth, one quartz crystal, three cloves of garlic,
Three gold coins, (doesn't have to be actual gold any coin gold in color), One red felt heart, three gardenia buds.Stitch your charm together with gold colored cotton and hang near your entrance. Bless the charm by carrying it around the house three times, visualizing prosperity, happiness, and positive change coming to you in your house.
*~To Quiet a Noisy House~*
Powder some dragon's blood, and in a small bottle, mix it with sugar and salt. Cover tightly and secure it someplace in the home where it will not be seen or disturbed. This will help keep things peaceful and quiet.*~For A Peaceful Home~*
Gather freshly cut parsley and place it in a pan of water. Let it soak for nine minutes, and then sprinkle the water throughout the house while visualizing a calm environment. Peace will be restored.*~To cleanse a house~*
Assemble a candle, incense, dish of water, and a dish of salt. Bless the items, and then go around the house opening all the windows and doors. Take the salt and walk around the house in a clockwise pattern, clockwise within each room. Throw a pinch of salt into each corner, through each doorway and out each window. As you toss it, see it burning away negativity and repeat as you go, "By the power of Salt cleanse this house". After you've done the salt, light the incense and repeat all actions making sure a little of the smoke drifts through all doorways and windows. See it blowing away all negativity, say "By the power of Air I cleanse this house". Repeat with the candle, shining its light through all doorways and windows, say "By the power of Fire I cleanse this house". Last is the water, sprinkle it into each corner and through the doorways and windows, "By the power of water I cleanse this house". Repeat this statement for each element several times in each room. When you are done, feel the energy of the house. If it needs repeating, repeat it, but I've never needed to.Household Protection
Compose an altar: place a censer in the center before an image of the Goddess. Have a 12 inch (or so) round mirror there as well. Ring the altar with 9 white candles. Burn a protective incense (such as sandalwood, frankincense, copal or rosemary) in the censer. Beginning with the candle most directly before the Goddess image, say these words:
"Lunar light protect me!"
Repeat as you light each candle until all are glowing.
Now, holding the mirror, invite the Goddess in Her lunar aspect with these words:"Great Goddess of Lunar Light
and Mistress of the Seas;
Great Goddess of the mystic night
and of the mysteries;
Within this place of candles bright
And with your mirror nigh;
Protect me with your awesome might
While ill vibrations fly!"
Standing before the altar, hold the mirror facing the candles so that it reflects their flames. Keeping the mirror toward the candles, move slowly, clockwise, around the altar, watching the reflected firelight bouncing off your surroundings.
Gradually increase your speed, mentally invoking the Goddess to protect you. Move faster and faster; watch the light shattering the air, cleansing it, burning away all negativity and all lines along which the ill energies have traveled into your home.
Charge you home with the protective light of the Goddess. Race around the candles until you’ve felt the atmosphere change, until you feel that your home has been cleansed and guarded by the Great Goddess.
When finished, stand once again before the image. Thank the Goddess in any words you wish. Pinch out the candles one by one, bind them together with white cord and store them in a safe place until (and if) you need to use them again for this same purpose. Say: "In no way will this spell cause me to suffer any adverse effects!"Another Household Protection spell
This should be done on the waning moon, as close to the New Moon as possible. Raise athame in salute to the Goddess and God, asking their assistance in your "house cleaning".
Now, beginning at the front door, walk throughout your home, doesil [clockwise]. At each window, door or other opening make an invoking pentagram with your athame [invoking, because it is invoking protection]. You may wish to chant as you mark these pentagrams. The one I use is: "Lord and Lady of the day, Keep all harm far away, Set your guard ever near, Let no evil enter here."
After you have gone through your entire living space, visualize the three-dimensional outline of your home being completely made of, and sealed with, white light. Thank the Lady and Lord for their aid.Protection
*~For Protection and Purification (Bath)~*
Steep a teaspoon of basil in a cup of boiling water, and strain out the herb. Add it to you bath water for a protective and cleansing influence. It is particularly useful to clean off the feelings left by contact with those who are negative or controlling.*~To Protect Children~*
To protect them while away, throw a handful of earth or sand after them as they leave, without their knowledge. This will ensure their safety.*~Witch’s Protection Bottle~*
Get a glass jar such as a Mason jar, or even a baby food jar, anything that has a lid to it. Fill the jar halfway with small sharp objects such as pins, metal scrapings, broken glass, razor blades, etc. Be careful when you are filling the jar! Once the jar is half full with these objects, fill the jar up with a holy water mixture of salt and water. Put the top on the jar and be sure it's secured. This jar should be buried in the ground at least twelve inches deep. As long as the bottle remains in the ground, you will be protected from harm that is sent your way. If you bury the jar somewhere away from home, and you wont know if it will still be there in a year, then be sure to repeat this process each year.*~Protection Spell~*

Here's a simple safety and protection meditation. This visualization can be used around people, pets, homes, cars, airplanes, and around anything you want to protect. After doing this a few times, you will not need the candles. You will be able to visualize the ball of white light at any time and any place. If you wish to protect a loved one and you have a photo of them, place it between the candles for the meditation. (Don't let it catch fire!)
You may cast a circle if you like, but it is not necessary. ~ Light white candles for protection. ~ Begin the meditation:
Sit down and get comfortable. Relax. Breathe slow and deep. Let all tension flow into the earth. Feel calm and peaceful. You are completely relaxed. Now visualize a beautiful white light all around you, like a bubble. It shimmers and sparkles. Now make it stronger, and then make it shine brighter. Make it grow until it fills the room you are in. Fill the bubble with love. Know that it will protect you wherever you go.*~Protect Your Desk~*
Summon your Warm Fuzzy Shield at least once a day while seated at your desk. If anyone asks what you are doing say you are either 1) trying to wake up, 2) going over your list of things to do in your head, or 3) praying for world peace. Over time your desk will accumulate a Warm Fuzzy aura.
‘Please note - "desk" is used as an example. Cab and truck drivers can do this in their vehicles, cooks in the kitchen, etc. Wherever you happen to be, if you've got a minute or two to sit or even stand still, you can do this.*~To protect a loved one~*
Now picture your loved one. See a glowing light all around them. It is just like the bubble you are in. It glows with safety and protection. Make it stronger, bigger, and brighter. Visualize this as long as you like. When you are done, wish your loved one well and know that they are safe.
Now prepare to end the meditation. Feel your circle of light bring you back to the present moment and the room you are in. Take a deep breath and stretch for a moment before you get up.
Let the candles burn as long as you like, then snuff them out. You may light them at any time you wish to strengthen the visualization and protection.*~A Fire Protection Spell ~*
In a clear spot at least 20 feet in diameter, gather together plenty wood, matches, & a quantity of water. Taking up one of the sticks of wood, draw a rough circle about 11 feet in diameter. Determine the directions (use a compass, Sun or Moon or stars)& lay a small fire at each point just inside the circle; North, East, South, West. Lay the fires, but don't light them. Next to each, place enough fuel to keep them burning for a 1/2 hour. Walking to the South first, light the fire, shouting these words as you do:"Nothing From The South Can Harm Me!"
Light the West fire, North fire, & East fire, saying the same thing, but changing the direction. Go back to the South fire & snatch up a burning stick from the Southern fire & thrust it at the sky above you (careful of burning ashes & sparks) & say:
"Nothing From Above Can Harm Me!"
Next throw the flaming wood down onto the Earth(or face it downwards)saying:
"Nothing From Below Can Harm Me!"
Replace the stick in the Southern fire & sit in the center of the circle, watching the fires burn. As necessary add more fuel. Know that the fires are literally burning away all that comes to harm you, on every level. Firmly implant in your mind the sight of the fires & feel of their heat, their light, & their protective qualities. When the fires begin to die & you feel the power ebbing, bury the fires with earth or sand, douse with water & obliterate the circle drawn on the ground. Leave the area, but retain the fiery circle of protection within your memory so that it can be recalled any time you feel the need for protection, physical, spiritual, or mental. If prevented form performing this ritual outdoors, substitute 4 large red candles for the fires. Proceed with the spell, lighting the candles rather than the fires. Then instead of taking a burning stick from the Southern fire, pick up the South candle & hold it carefully over your head. Say the words, then place it on the ground & say the words. Snuff or pinch out the candles when you're done starting with the West. Never blow them out!
*~An Earth Protection Bottle~*
Into a long, small bottle pour fresh, clean soil. Fill it to the top & cap it. Place this bottle near the entrance, preferably in a window, to guard against evil entering your home.*~A Protective Stone~*
Take a small high-vibration stone and hold it in your power hand. For several minutes, preferably sitting on the bare Earth, chant the following in a low voice and stare at the stone:
"Stone, evil you shall deny. Send it to the earth and sky. Send it to the flame and sea. Stone of power, protect me."
Now carry the stone with you at all times as a good luck charm. It will absorb your vibrations, thus making it uniquely yours. It will also release its own energies to protect you.
Healing~Healing spell~*
To help speed recovery from an accident or illness, write the name of the sick person on a white candle. Anoint with three drops of myrrh or mint oil, visualize healing energy in the form of white light flowing from your hands into the candle. Say:
In the divine name of the goddess
Who breathes into us all
I consecrate and charge this candle
As a magical tool for healing
Place the candle on top of a photo of the sick person and light the wick. As the candle burns down, concentrate upon the person in the photo, willing him or her to be well again, and chant the following incantation:
Magic mend and candle burn,
Sickness end – good health return.*~HEALING WATER~*
Take a holed stone & put it into a vessel of clear water. Remove it & the water is possessed of healing vibrations that can be used in healing baths, to anoint healing charms, & so on.*~A HEALING BATH~*
Take a lit silver or white candle, some salt, & a healing oil (such as carnation, violet, sandalwood, or marcissus) into the bathroom. By candlelight run a tub of very warm water. Cast some salt into it, add a few drops of oil & then step into the tub. Relax. Feel the warm salted water sinking into your pores, through your skin, sterilizing the sick portions of your body. Visualize the 'black worms' leaving it if you wish, & when you feel the water teeming with them, pull the plug & let the water drain out. While it's draining chant:"The sickness is flowing out of me,
Into the water, down to the sea."Only when the tub is completely drained stand up. It's best to immediately splash your body with fresh water (a shower) to remove the last of the disease of sickness. Repeat as needed to speed recovery.
*~To Heal~*
To remove a disease or heal a wound, rub the afflicted part with an apple or potato. Then, as quickly as possible, dig a hole in the ground, put it in, & cover it over with earth. It is done. As it rots it releases the wound or disease.Study
*~Candle and Crystal Spell for Successful Study~*
Anoint two yellow candles with lemon oil and light them. Take citrine quartz, anoint with lemon oil also, and place in front of the candles so that the candlelight shines on it. Chant the following:'Charge the stone with candlelight

So that no bane can interfere
With the process of my brain
So what I read is knowledge gained

This is my will, so mote it be!'Let the candles burn and charge the stone while you study. Keep the stone with you when you need to give papers, take exams or study.
Study spell
Use a yellow candle(intelligence, accelerated learning, memory, and all that other good stuff) and cleansed, consecrated, and empowered quartz....with the quartz you would scratch the rune appropriate to your need...I use the order rune ( three squares inside of each other) ....if You’re not sure of the appropriate rune, just draw a symbol that signifies your need. As you scratch the symbol you have to visualise your need. You have to see in your mind you've already passed the exam... or you passed the class.... See yourself studying, concentrating, focusing.... You have to really feel and see this is going to happen. Now you would place the candle in a holder... Put the crystal near the candle and light the wick... leave the candle to burn and again visualise...
Also you carry around different gems and stones... These should be worn or carried around with you....

*~Shield #1, The Warm Fuzzy~*
This is for the Profoundly Limp Noodle to use, as all it requires is that you're still breathing. As you inhale imagine energy and strength pouring into your body with the air. As you exhale, imagine your expelled breath as a golden mist. As you continue to breath in and out visualize this mist becoming a warm, protective sphere around you, growing larger with each exhalation. Let your eyes rest somewhere less distracting.
This is also a good shield to cook up any time you feel a need for a little extra protection. I frequently summon it up while waiting for commuter trains or when I need to ride the bus home at night. I wouldn't call it a heavy-duty shield in general although with practice it can become surprisingly strong.*~Summon a shield~*
I prefer Mirrored Sphere for this myself, as it is a mini-ritual, but Warm Fuzzy will certainly work if that's all you've got the juice for - add a pinch of salt to the water, and speak a brief blessing over it. I usually go for "Mother Goddess and Father God, bless this water and salt and make them holy" - it's short, it's sweet (alright, salty), and easy to remember under stress.
Now, with your finger, draw a circle around the area you wish to protect. With a desk, I'd drag my wet finger around the edges of the desk. With a hospital bed, do the same for the bed frame. If you're in a waiting room do your chair. If you're in court do your chair, but discreetly. For cars, circle the entire car. If anyone asks, tell him or her you're removing smudge marks from those [expletives deleted] neighborhood kids. If you wish to break a bad habit, perform any spell of this nature while the North Wind is blowing for added power. The North Wind is the wind of the element Earth.
