Colors help us in our spells and our worshiping of the deity. Often times colors are used to represent different aspects of a persons aura, what jobs candles can do, and help with healing. Listed below are some of the uses of colors and what they mean.Tips:
~If you are visiting someone who is emotionally upset: wear white, beige, blue or Cream.
~Intimate evenings: Pink or Peach
~To go unnoticed: wear light grey
~Regal appearances: Indigo Lavender or soft violet
~Untouchable attitude(thrill of the chase): Black
~Passion: Red of course!

Healing with color - Turquoise
"Turquoise is single-minded and looks to itself first. It is the color that says "Stand still! What do you think? What do I need?"
Turquoise says what is appropriate. Its basic motivation in life is personal relationships. Negative turquoise can be deceived about itself. It can be an emotional manipulator. The antique business is well suited to turquoise, as is working with animals. Turquoise is good at sharing as it hates to be alone. It just loves family life."

The healing properties of Gray
"Gray is the bridge between black and white. Where innocence and ignorance meet. Gray at its best is optimistic, and knows that the best is yet to come. At its weakest, it believes it cannot have it today. It might get it tomorrow...but tomorrow never comes.
Negative gray is conventional to the point of narrow-mindedness. It is the shade of suffering and poverty. Gray offers a helping hand. It helps one break free from the chains that bind. Gray usually does the jobs that no one else wants to do. "
Gray and parts of the body:
Gray shades in the body represent breakdown. Light gray can be soothing, although gray is not normally used in healing. When the skin and nails have a gray tinge, it is a sign that there is congestion somewhere in the body.Working with shades and tints.
When people talk of the healing properties of color, they usually refer to
their "Hue" Which is the single color (Red, green, brown, blue etc.). Each Hue also has variations, which are made by adding more black to The color (Shade) or more white to the color (tint). For example, Pink is a tint of red and Maroon is a shade of red. Tints tend to be more positive and better for healing that shades.The shades and tints:
RED: -
Maroon - Subdued and cautious; deeply thoughtful; overcomes adversity.
Magenta - Spiritually uplifting; the great improver and arbiter.
Crimson - Does not believe in strife; strong but kind; tenacity and freedom.
Scarlet - Love of life; willingness.
Pink - Comforting; and mollifying; ripeness; affection.ORANGE: -
Dark orange - undermining; the gambler; the loser.
Amber - Gives confidence and supports self-confidence.

Emerald green - material affluence; easy-going nature; abundance.

Hidden colors:
When you are working with color healing, it is important to remember
That some colors have hidden colors (e.g.. blue + green + yellow =
Turquoise). Look at the individual colors as well as the main color.
Complementary colors
These are important in color healing as you can use them to balance Any colors which you have in excess. For example, if you were angry at something, you have an excess of red, so by looking at blue flowers, or wearing something blue, you are counteracting the effects of the red.Complementary colors:
Red - Blue
Orange - Indigo
Yellow - Purple
Green - magenta
Green acts as a neutralizer and will return balance to any situation, so if you can't remember which colors are complementary, just use green.
Color Healing:
There are many ways you can use color healing, you can try to eat foods of the color you need, you can wear clothes of that color, use colored crystalliser you can use colored lights to focus the color into a particular part of your body (Called Chromotherapy). You can make color lights, by using colored cellophane (or other similar substance) and covering the head of the lamp (or a torch) with it. BE CAREFUL that the cellophane does not touch the bulb, or get too hot.
Eating colors:
Red foods - give extra energy; heals lethargy and tiredness.
Orange foods- creates optimism and change; heals grief and Disappointment.
Yellow foods - encourages laughter, joy and fun; heals depression.
Green foods - Improve physical stamina; heals panic, fear and apprehension.
Blue foods - Brings peace and relaxation; helps concentration; heals anxiety.
Indigo foods - Puts back structure into life; heals insecurity.
Purple foods - promotes leadership; heals and calms the emotionally erraticWeight loss/gain with colored foods: to lose weight you should eat yellow and orange foods, as yellow gives agility and energy to mind and helps illuminate any unwanted baggage (i.e. weight). Orange foods help you to absorb the nutrients from other foods.
To gain weight you should eat blue and purple foods. Blue is a Calming soothing, and can help you to become inactive so that the calories can become fat :)
