Agios Sostis Beach in the north of Mykonos is in my point of view one of the nicest and most relaxed beaches of Mykonos. The beach is named after a nearby church which stands above the beach. Agios Sostis Beach is pretty uncultivated, and it's mostly quiet, especially compared to some of the other beaches on the island. There are no beachchairs and no umbrellas, and nudity is allowed at the end of the large beach. A perfect sandbeach for a swim. It's position on the island, in a protected cove, also asures that not too much rubble washes ashore, so it's quite clean. Bring a bottle of water with you when you go there, allthough there is a taverna nearby, but the beach is long and you might want to look for a private spot at the end of the beach in case you want to swim naturist style.

There is no bus connection between Agios Sostis Beach and Mykonos Town, so if you want to go there you have to have your own transport or you have to take a taxi. The good thing is that this makes Agios Sostis Beach more quiet than some of the other beaches that are served by public transport. If you walk back from the beach to the main road and then turn right (towards the north) you will find another (smaller) sandy beach after a few minutes walk.
