Dragon Ball Z opens with Goku visiting his old
friends at Master Roshi's Island. Soon Piccolo, Goku's rival arrives
followed by Radditz, Goku's older brother. Radditz tells Goku that he
is a Sayian from outer space and that he is here to rejoin the Sayian
forces. Goku refuses to do so Radditz kidnaps Goku's son, Gohan. Piccolo
and Goku decide to join forces together to rid this villian. Radditz
tells Goku to kill 100 people by the next morning or Gohan will die.
They decide to battle Radditz. Even with the combined forces of Piccolo
and Goku, Radditz seams unstoppable. Then Piccolo trys his special beam
cannon wounding Radditz as he dodge the blast. Goku thinking of only
one way to win, sacrafies his life. While he grabs on to a stunned Radditz,
he warns them of two other Sayians stronger than him coming to Earth
in a year. Then Piccolo destroyed both Sayians with his beam cannon.
Since two more powerful Sayians are approaching Earth, everyone must
train for the upcoming battle. Sensing Gohan's great power, Piccolo
decides to train Gohan by himself. Goku, now dead, begins his new training
with King Kai. Yamcha, Tien, and Choazu train at Kame's Lookout.
After a year has gone passed the Sayians have finally arrived on Earth
in search of the Dragonballs. Nappa with the help of some Saiberman
take out almost everyone except Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo. Just when
Nappa is ready to kill them, Vegeta calls a three hour break to wait
for Kakorat (Goku) to arrive. After the break expires the fighting continues.
Nappa aims a blast at Gohan, but Piccolo sacrafices his life for him.
Nappa's assualt on them continues untill Goku arrives. Goku makes sport
of Napa for a bit before eventually Vegeta, sick of his partner, kills
Napa. That leaves Vegeta and Goku to duel. The fights ends with Goku
winning when Vegeta relizes how to beat Goku. He creates a big energy
ball in the sky, so he can turn into an Oozaru, an ape beast in which
you become ten times stronger. It seems like Goku will lose because
Vegeta has too much power. Eventually the cowardly Yajirobe rescues
Goku by cutting off Vegeta's tail. Then Goku blasts him away into the
distance. Vegeta sensing defeat, retreats back into his spaceship to
Frieza's command post.
