The Supersucker's first album was a collection of singles put out by Empty records. Their next album, The Smoke of Hell, was put out by Sub Pop. According to some bios (ok one) this album was overplayed, but i guess I wouldn't really know considering I was in third grade at the time. . .Anyways- In 1994 they released another album on Sub Pop called La Mano Cornudo which has to do with satan. Then in 1995 they released Sacrilicous. When they were recording this they got the chance to meet and record with Willie Nelson making the song Bloody Mary Morning. During that year they also played a Farm Aid concert which brought up some country aspects of the band. In April and May of 99' the band was on tour stopping for awhile in the annual SXSW conference in Austin TX. On the return trip they had Gerald Collier from The Best Kissers In the World opening for the band. In August Sub Pop released an anthology cd in August called "The Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band In The World". It included b-sides, unreleased stuff and rare tracks.

The Supersuckers are contributing two songs to a compilation titled "Free the West Memphis 3". One of the songs will be with Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. You can get more info on the album (and soon a review) here. And more info on the West Memphis 3 at The band will be playing at Blood Drive 2000 with The Damned, The Misfits, Zeke and many more. I went to Seattle recently and picked up this zine called Backfire. It's very cool and it happened to have an interview with Eddie. It's pretty interesting.
