Here is a picture of me and my roommate Kari.

I had 5 other roommates in a three bedroom apartment at Vista Way. We were all from different parts of the world. Despite our cultural differences, we had a pretty good time living together.

The Summer of 1997 was Walt Disney World's 25th Anniversary celebration. Working in the Magic Kingdom at this time was more outstanding than usual. Look at what they did to Cinderella's Castle!

Working in Merchandise at the Emporium allows you to try Delivery Services. I enjoyed this very much. This position required me to drive a cool pargo around the tunnels underneath the Magic Kingdom, and travel to all the Merchandise locations in the park that offered Package Pick-up and Resort Delivery for Guests. Not to mention, its costume was pretty nice.

Lucky me. My birthday just happens to fall during the Summer time. This was the year I celebrated my 20th birthday. I didn't go too crazy that year.

Whenever we weren't working, we tried to make an effort to take a load off. And in Florida, that isn't too hard to do. Here is a picture from a trip to Daytona Beach.

Each College Program usually holds a dance towards the end of the program, as a celebration of your completion. It is typically known as a Grad Ball, and the Summer of 1997, it was held at Disney's MGM Studios. Here we are getting ready to go!

I have to admit that my first summer on the Walt Disney World College Program was definately one of the best times I have had in my life. The people I have met have become my best friends, and I still keep in touch with most of them. If you are one of those I am not keeping in touch with, EMAIL ME! I will never forget you guys ever!
