WDWCP Alumni Experience Summer 1998
Erin was someone I met on the College Program in 1997. We then discovered that we both attended Towson University, and decided to travel down together as Alumni the Summer of 1998. We were roomies in Vista Way apartment 3712!
Kristine was a roommate of mine this summer. She is the most "Disney-like" person Ive ever met. One of the things I admired most about Kristine is she was very good at keeping in touch with her friends and family from home.
This is Tyler. He lived down the hall from us. He was the guitar playing, alcohol drinking, party-all-the-time Jungle Cruise Skipper from Mississippi. Gotta love him.
This is Deb, Erin and ME! If you look closely, you just may see a poster of some overly muscular men, with pictures over their faces, and names on their shorts. This was a little joke that the four girls of 3712 made early in the summer, and it just happened to carry through our entire program. The heads on these bodies were photographed by yours truly, and were of some of the guys down the hall. If you would like to see a close up of that lovely poster, please click on the photo above.
Here they are. Four of the guys from down the hall. What a good looking bunch.
If you recall from my Summer 1997 page, Grad Ball occurs almost every College Program. This year it was held at Coronado Springs Convention Center. Here we are before the big dance.
My buddy Ty. Here we are at the dance. He wanted to tango with me so badly, and told me I had to keep a straight face. That was almost impossible for me to do. This was the best shot of our tangoing at the Grad Ball.
Here we have Erin and Mike before the big dance.
Every thing must come to an end, unfortunately. I have to say this had been the best summer I had at Walt Disney World. (Although, I can only compare to one other Summer) This was our last day together at Vista Way. I remember a girl across the hall coming into our apartment, and telling us that she had to get up early and drive home. You know, kind of like the rest of us. So I took the initiative, and asked her to take our picture. I love you guys!
