Warriors versus Bakersfield Christian Eagles



BCHS defeated the Warriors 28-6 in 2024 to take an overall 7-5 lead in the series, including six-straight losses. In 2019, BCHS defeated Tehachapi 64-0. The 64 point loss was the worst loss in school history.

The two schools were re-united in the same league in 2018 after BCHS moved up to the Yosemite League from the South Sequoia League.

Quarterback Derek Carr, who was a star at Fresno State, and now with the Oakland Raiders,
led the Eagles over the Warriors in 2008 in a 40-35 offensive shootout.

BCHS joined the South Sequoia League (SSL) in 2006, moving up from the East Sierra League. BCHS is the smallest high school
in the SYL, with a student population of 450 students (2018). BCHS is located at the corner of Stockdale Highway and Allen Road in Bakersfield.

BCHS is a private non-denominational, co-educational college preparatory high school. BCHS was founded in 1979
and dedicated to the principles of providing a quality educational experience for Christian families.
