Flash animations

I've been creating animations since 1996, first... very slowly by hand, using a combination of the windows paintbrush accessory and some DOS command-line gif-tools to make animated gifs... then later [ 1998 onwards ] using Macromedia Flash to produce much larger, bigger, better animations - with sound. This page exists to showcase the animations that I've done in the past, and those I'm working on at the moment.

Note that there are more animations to add to this page, as soon as I remember where I "backed up" my other copies. There is a definate level of progression from the early years to where I am today.

Complete / abandoned animations

Some "completed" animations [completed in so much as that they do everything I wanted them to before I abandoned them.

Flash Gateway - an interactive use of macromedia flash, multiple movies, and text files to produce a dynamic user interface. Created in 2002 during my secondment to Coventry University's creative design studio.

Rolf Reversed : A stairway to heaven Version 1 - An animation showing just what happens if you take a song that is famous for having dodgy "reversed" lyrics, and seeing if those same lyrics can be heard in a cover version.

"A very Tidy Sum" - a [very short] animation that may form part of a rolling sketch show...

"Don't worry, it's only an advert" - another 5 second sketch...
