This WebQuest was designed to align with South Carolina's Fourth Grade standards.  It was designed to use with groups of four students.  The teacher may choose the groups ahead of time or let students choose.  The students should have access to information that would describe the careers of geology, mapmaking (cartography), biology (as it relates to plants and animals), and knowledge of Native American culture.  Two online, free encyclopedia references are linked below.
