In your group of four, you should decide upon the roles each of you will adopt.  One of you will be an expert on the flora and fauna (plants and animals) of the time period.  Another of you will be an expert on geology.  A third will be an expert on maps, mapmaking, and geography.  The fourth group member will be an expert on Indian culture and relations with the Indian tribes.

You will be working together to plan the expedition that Thomas Jefferson has laid out.  You will need to look at the expectations that President Jefferson has of you as well as think about your specific area.  Then as a group, you will come up with a plan that includes a timeline, and a list of needed supplies.
