After Coby's mother died Cloud was left with the responsibility of raising him, but he was considered to be a good father by those who knew him. He taught Coby how to aim and use a gun, along with some of the fighting he picked up along the way on his own journeys. Most of the time, however, he would leave Coby to figure out problems on his own, and if he fell, to learn to pick up and dust himself off. Along with Coby, Cloud also took care of Robyn a good deal of the time, since she was often neglected by her own parents. He would often tell Coby, "Everyone has their own calling in life. And when they hear it, they better follow it, before they lose their chance. Because once that opportunity is gone, it isn't coming back." Name: Dr. Zubart Age: 62 Eye color: Brown Hair color: Bald Height: 4’8” Background info: Dr. Zubart, or simply called "Doctor" by most, was a short-lived character in the story. He is first introduced when Coby falls between the fissure of the bridge and ends up below "the Plate." He is brought to a hospital, and the Doctor is the one that fixes him up and gets him back on his feet from being knocked unconscious. He is a non-serious type of a man, but is very capable of becoming a "grumpy old man" when he wants to be. Despite his age, he is also very highly skilled in martial arts, and he claimed that he learned "a few tricks of the trade for those unruly patients." He was also a good source of comical relief for the story. Name: Mr. Yuena Age: 46 Eye color: Blue Hair color: Black Height: 6’ Background info: Mr. Yuena is Robyn's father, and at one point in Robyn's earlier years he was responsible for inventing new weapons for a military corporation known as ShinRa that resided within the city. When he was not working in the garage on a new weapon, he was off at ShinRa headquarters testing or presenting it. He's a kind man, and cared for his family a lot, but his job prevented him from being able to spend "quality time" with his family. Thus, he grew distant from Robyn. He finally suggested that he and his wife go somewhere else and leave Robyn behind, to give her, and themselves, a chance at leading a different life. Name: Mrs. Yuena Age: 42 Eye color: Purple Hair color: Blue Height: 5’8” Background info: Mrs. Yuena is Robyn's mother, and she, like Mr. Yuena, was gone at work most of the time. Knowing that a friend of theirs, Cloud Strife, lived a few doors down and worked from home, they would often have him take Robyn for the day until she was old enough to live by herself at home. Mrs. Yuena worked as a travelling business woman, making business transactions all over the country for her company, which caused her to be on the go nearly all the time. She would buy things for Robyn at the places she visited, but she knew the short-term happiness her daughter got from a new present would not be able to make up for all the time she was left alone. She agreed with Mr. Yuena at leaving Robyn by herself to live with the Strifes since she believed their parenting was a "bad influence" on Robyn.
