HOPE Name: Umeko Hitaru Age: 20 Eye color: Light blue Hair color: Dark brown (almost black) Height: 5'6" Weapon(s): Shuriken, Kiriha Tachi Disciplines: Eishin ryu, iaido, and her grandfather's personal style that he named "houou ryu." Background info: Umeko is a girl who wanders around the country as a travelling mercenary. She left her home at the age of sixteen and has been travelling ever since, picking up oddjobs from people along her way to sustain a corrigible means of money. Her family owned a dojo, and her grandfather was a master at martial arts, so she was trained by him beginning the day she learned how to walk. Her family entered her in local martial arts tournaments, many of which she won throughout the years. When Umeko's father found out that the warlord's army was approaching their village, and after much painful contemplation and consideration by the family, they decided that it was best to send her away from home. Umeko's mother was worried about letting her out on her own, but her grandfather assured her mother that Umeko's time had arrived for her to pursue her own future. Name: Kotaro Ikinan Age: 13 Eye color: Yellow Hair color: Black (short with shaggy bangs) Height: 5'2" Weapon(s): Two wakizashi Discipline: Ninjutsu Background info: Kotaro is the teenage leader of a clan of ninjas residing in the town of Nanku. Very acrobatic, he is able to easily jump on top of houses and smaller pagodas, and one of his better skills in fighting is evasion. He carries different weapons with him, mainly small sharp objects good for throwing to minorly injure someone so they get slowed down. His has a carefree personality, and if someone tells him he isn't allowed to do something, he'll use his own means to get around it. One of his hobbies seems to be trying to hook up Umeko and Yotsuma, and often teases Umeko when he claims he caught her looking at him. Nonetheless, despite how reluctant the two were to have him join them on their journey, Umeko and Yotsuma both care about Kotaro like a younger brother. She works as a bounty hunter, taking up any job she's offered, and executing it with little thought. She needed to get by somehow, and that was the way she figured worked the best. Leire interacts little with people, and when she goes into taverns she keeps to herself instead of starting a conversation. She knows that if she's going to be good at her job, she won’t be able to make any personal connections with anyone. She has no memory of her parents or where she came from, but nonetheless she is a carefree child. She comes and goes to villages as she pleases, and is not one to stir up trouble. She often gets people to give things to her so she doesn’t need to have a source of income. Overall, little is known about her since even she is unable to answer her own questions. It ranges from emerald to gold in color and takes the form of a cat with bird-like wings in its first stages of development, then slowly turns into a slightly furry dragon with bird-like wings, height spanning anywhere from 10-16 feet. Name: Hirosuke Yamato Age: 13 Eye color: Amber Hair color: Purple Height: 5'6" Background info: His Akon, and Aryadne, goes by the title of Rokusho. Deeply despising Hirosuke for quite some time immediately after its capture, he is not one to be messed with, even by his "master." He looks like a wolf and a tiger that were fused together, with the capability of walking on all fours or upright. Rokusho has retractable claws, a set of fangs, and is generally white except for the orange stripes going down his right side in an intricate pattern. One of those people who has to be on the top, and has the skill to backup what he wants. When he fights he'll usually use a mix of punches and kicks, swordplay, and long range attacks, whatever he sees fit. Both physically and academically fit, he really isn't one that has an equal.
