Sample of Role-Playing

For those of you totally new to role-playing games, or maybe you only played the computer versions, like Everquest or Final Fantasy, here are a few pages to explain the elements and show you some examples of moments in a RPG session.

One thing to remember; everyone has different experiences with these games because of the subjective structure given to the Game Master.  The Game Master really creates most of this on the fly, as she/he reads and acts all of it from her/his notes and pre-written information, and makes up some of it on the spot.

Examples of a Session:

bulletThe Players
bulletThe Meeting
bulletThe Conflict
bulletThe Resolution

Different Variations of Role-Playing:

bulletThe Acting Style
bulletThe Gaming Style
bulletThe Balanced Style
