Rock Revolution Tour

Brutus is taking their music on the road from this month in an attempt to educate the public about their music and also about past and present bands. To increase the awareness of local rock/metal music, Brutus is taking the initiative to lead the fight for recognition of METAL MUSIC IN GUYANA. But there is a little set back to this road trip, sorry fans. Due to tuff laws on the West Coast of Essequibo we are forced to reschedule our dates. We are looking at Meten-Meer-Zorg, Anna Catherina and Enmore to be our first venues ( Venues are to be confirmed).

So let's hail 83,000 square miles of Guyanese metal. The battle which rests on the shoulders of four mortal souls who are ready to deliver from Skeldon to Charity, Georgetown to Linden, hinter land to the savannah and beyond these shores. Here is your road call rockers and metalists in support of local Guyanese music. Come join us in sharing our love of rock and metal not just with Georgetown but with all of Guyana. As soon as we get over these slight road blocks in the plans we'll post new dates and venues. So look out for them.

Come out and be counted, stand up and shout, represent your district, The torch still burns heed the call; Embrace the light Rocking for local.

Rock Appreciation

As you know, we were unable to perform as we had hoped to on Mashramani Day. As we mentioned in our apology via the Weekend Confidential column of the Chronicle News we experienced quite a few technical and power setbacks. We did try our best and got about a half an hours worth of live performance .However we really want to give back to all you fans who came out there to support us. Old and new listeners, seasoned rockers and especially those now discovering what local rock music has to offer. So... et tu Brutus has a Rock Appreciation show planned just for you. It's a chance to make up for what you missed out on, to come out and show that no matter what we are behind local rock music. Remember every big thing has to start somewhere small. And that's what were are trying to do. To fight the fight that will help move local rock into the lime light, so Guyana's talent can be seen (and heard).

So come out and join us in our quest to promote local rock/metal in Guyana. All you need to bring is your love of rock and metal, your excitement for life and music and a few friends to enjoy it with you. In giving back to you our fans...it is absolutely FREE. Just come on in and show your support, enjoy the music. Be among the numbers that will be remembered for years and years as the ones who supported their fellow guyanese artistes in putting Guyana on the international rock/metal map.

In the mix party

Ok so we all love rock and metal. But what's a party without some of that old 'pizazz' . So we're planning a fun night with a mix of music. What kind of music you ask? Well, what's a nicely planned event without some mystery too. Let's just say, we all need to let loose sometimes and jive to something a lil different. It's about fun and different beats. Rock, metal.....and lips are sealed on the other beats we've got planned to get you jiving in style. Something a lil different from the regular rock scene but don't underestimate the fun.
