Ty Carl Buffington 1 month old

Ty is 1 month old already!! He's really been doing pretty good! He has such a personality. The other day we went in and he was all wrapped up tight. He looked like a cocoon with a head popping out of it! The nurse said that he had been grumpy all morning so she wrapped him up tight to make him feel better! It was really funny!

Ty is still struggling with his lungs. Now on top of that he has an infection that is slowing down the progress. That's why in some of the pictures you see us wearing the yellow gowns. They are going to be treating the infection with antibiotics and making adjustments to his ventilator settings. Hopefully in a few days he'll get over this infection and get back to working on his lungs.

He has been increasing his feedings too! He's above 2 1/2 lbs now and growing more every day! He's up to 18ccs every 3 hours.

Please keep praying for his lungs and for him to fight off this infection!

Thanks to Mrs. Gwen my head will stay warm all the time!!

As you can see, Ty has a lot of machines helping him! So for us to hold him it's really a big ordeal!

I've been misbehaving so I have to be wrapped up in a Cocoon! But I'm still cute!!!
