There have been so many positive things that it's hard to know where to start! Ty's breathing has improved so much! His oxygen support is about half what it was a week ago! There is still a long way for us to go but he has gotten so much better and is going to get so much better! The infection in his lungs has pretty much cleared up.
They have resumed his feedings! He is up to 18ccs every 3 hours. This is a full feeding for him. Since he has not gained any weight in over 2 weeks, we should start to see him gain now. He is weighing about 2 lbs 7 oz. Hopefully he'll take off now that he is back to his full feedings.
We have felt so much better too since he has started feeling better. We've seen his personality start to show again! He got a bath for the first time in a couple of weeks and he did not like it one bit! He fought the nurse the entire time... (sounds like his daddy when he used to get baths...) Also he wore his first outfit since he was born. Although they couldn't keep it on him because it made him too hot, it was really cute to see him in it.
Please keep him in your prayers and as the weeks and months pass by we are that much closer to taking him home!!
