The best news is that his eye doctor said that his eyes have healed and are doing great! We won't have another follow-up appointment for 6-8 weeks!! This is an answer to alot of prayers!!
He has been working on his breathing but has not made alot of progress. Last week they did try him on a new breathing machine, but he didn't do very well on it. So they put him back on the one he was on and he's stayed very stable since. Hopefully soon they will be able to start moving a little more on this machine. They usually wait a little longer before they try babies on the other machine, but they just wanted to see how he would do. We were hoping that he would do good, but he just wasn't ready for it. Maybe in a couple of weeks they can try again.
His sister was able to come visit for a short while this weekend. He wasn't really sure what to think about her at first, but after a little while he warmed up and really loved seeing her.
We've gone more than 160 days here now and we are ready to get them both home. We'll stay here as long as we have to stay to get him healthy, but we are praying that we will be able to go home soon! We just have to remember that this is all in God's hands and He has a plan for these wonderful children!
Please keep praying for him! We'll get him home soon!!
