Ty had a good week! This week he was visited by our friends from Tennessee! They drove 14 hours to come see us! Sharon and Donovan spent the weekend with us visiting! We had a great time catching up with friends and sharing our wonderful babies with them!
Ty also had some good news regarding his eye test! His eyes are improving and may not need any corrective procedures! This is a big answer to our prayers! They will continue to check on him to make sure that he is continuing to improve! His next scheduled exam is in 2 weeks. Now they can start working on getting him off of the CPAP!
The next thing that we have to work on is his hernias. Premature boys often have hernias when they are born. This causes him a great deal of discomfort and pain. In a couple of weeks he will have to have surgery to repair his hernias. The procedure is very quick and has a short recovery time. We are very anxious to get this out of the way so that the discomfort and pain can be taken away!
He is still growing so big! We are still hoping to get him home soon! Probably about another month and we'll get to take him home! I can't wait!!!
