Lindsay Marie Buffington January 27th Update

Lindsay has really been doing great!!! She is up to 11 lbs 12 ozs!! She has been talking to her animals and toys alot! Also she is holding her head up really good! We are working on sitting up and holding on to her toys. We have some big blocks that she likes to hold on to. She also rolls half way over to grab things!!

She still likes to be held and snuggled! She is such a snuggle bug! She loves to be held right after she eats!

We've had a lot of people ask why she is still on oxygen. Because her lungs were forced to work before they were really ready to work, they were somewhat damaged. The oxygen support now just gives her a little help so that she doesn't have to spend her energy working on breathing. She can spend it growing and getting smarter. So she could actually go without it, but we chose to keep her on it so that she will have the best chance possible to grow and develop. We will keep her on it for a while longer.

Please keep praying for her. She has really been doing great and has been so happy!!

Today I decided not to take my vitamins... look at the mess I made.
