Corn
It silks and sheen's
In a mirriad of colors
Growing in grace
Sustaining
Brilliant golds like the rising sun
Soft caresses like a whisper
Embracing
Browns dancing
Gourds shaking
Bad spirits all away
Away
Washed in sunlight
Like a dream catcher
Like the Sacred Pipe
Is corn
White kernals
Black
Yellow
Brown
Even green
And blue
True blue
Blue loves you
And it falls like mana
It falls like buttercup kisses
On a nose
Gold sheen like the sparkles of sunset
On the marsh waters
Corn pollen
Fine silks waving in the wind
Mantis like arms on a proud head
Universal
Corn
Where dragonflies dance
And crow caws
Might be a good day sometime
In the fields of Sun dancers
And sacred realms
Of timeless dimension
Where every spirit knows
Each other and has spent times
They have crawled out of darks
Like a nymph
Soon sometime
Over Mountains
Turquoise
My roots cry so
Hai-eeeee! Hai-eeeee!
For Mother Earth
Feeling so strange
Day Of Rain
Cool night air
Thunder
The soft sounds of rain
Frogs sing
Crickets by day
Along the rieds
Stars across the sky
Great clouds
A hawk speaks
Every morning
Where glorious golds
Streak in rays
Heavy moisture on the green
Feels like the presence
Like when a crow dives your head
Or a lizard flares out his moneybag
To challenge the great invader
That is your toes wiggeling on the porch
Very there, if you weren't aware
Thick between houses
Cardinals picking seeds
Doves coo
Waiting the last minuet on cars
To get out of the way
Bugs every freaking were
Dragonflies over the grass
Mosquitoes swarm
Ants on recon for higher ground
Trees deeper, hanging limbs
Damp shade
Everything breathing
In the slight breeze
Like it never saw rain before
Basking in the welcome
Of it's total down pour
Thick like an amazon
Flower
In the dark cool damp
A feeling to reach out into it
Fingers spread down
Soft, enriching taste
A strive to the warmth above
Oh delight!
So warm, the light glow
Wind breathing
Streatch
To find my face in the sun
The moon moving
Energy
Spurting
Sway
Growth
Arms to uplift
Shaping
Shifting
Higher
Deeper
Eyes to open
Feeling
Oh these touches!
Warm embrace
Moving
Whispers
Rain falls splashing
Soft cool breath
Wash
And drowning
Color
Blooming in love
Bright brillance
What eyes see?
Beleiving
Oh shine!
Oh breath!
Take all!
Hands open
Palms wide
Dancing in the wind
Oh life!
Caresses of the bumbelbee
Aphids on the stem
Crickets resounding at night
One flower
Again!
Again!
Seeds fly
floating
To Earth
Mystic Blue
Mystic blue is the color of the night sky
And the smell of rain.
It is the color deep within
Behind the eyes and flowing winds.
It is the color of unwhispered words
Of the way I feel about all things.
It is the color of the blue in a fires flame.
The sound that the wolves make
when the pack has united.
It is the way the cool wind comes from
The forest where the trees stand in welcome.
It is the way a heart is felt
When a hug has met its warm embrace.
It is the color of a tear drop
And the depths that draw beyond a laughter.
It is the way I feel, mystic blue,
When freedom has taken wing
And allowed me those graces
I am home again.
Marsh
Grasses taller than a small tree
Along the dark, rich shore
Of the marshes waters.
Flying into sparkles of sun cast,
My life on the bow.
If only I were that crane
Or the cedar hanging over
The water.
If only I could have been that turtle
Drying on the stump
Or that little gator peeking up from the green.
If only I could have been wandered
Into those deep cool depths
Where the palmsetas are growning.
Never
I'd never come back
To man.
Taste The Rainbow
The water fall washes down
Off the mountain side
In it's sheen fields of green
And heavy mist arrised stark across
The rainbow shine
Could it be
Taste the rainbow
All those thoughts inside my mind
Where things I played like the castaway
Were sounds my music had not played
In such a way
The rainbow could not shine
Could it be
Taste the rainbow
The water fall washes down
Off the mountain side
In it's sheen fields of green
And heavy mist arrised stark across
The rainbow shine
Maybe I was only dreaming for a moment
Two or then
But I could swear I was believing in that time
When things I played like the castaway
Were sounds my music had not played
In such a way
All the rainbow was a smile and stayed a while
And could it be
Taste the rainbow
The whispers of our dreams
Just take a little while
Tornado
Tornado fingers down
Racing across the land a wild tumble
Roofs fly, buildings crumble
Wind still
Until the train
Eeee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
Twisting around the long trail
A vortex of total destruction
An eye of calm
Wrapped in heavenly proportions
Of reckoning
Eeee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
In dreams it turns into angels
If I dare to turn and face them
Dark world turning around
Like a stirring
A restless nature
Eeee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
Vortex in the sky
A world on fire
Nothing but a flip of a speck
To the massive dark turning
That fingers down
Eeee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
A train that roars and comes
Barreling down
In dreams I once heard the shaman singing
While I was holding tight to a tree
Two twisted legs walking
Eeee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
To take me in
I sang his song in hopes my fear would free
In the most unlikely way it did
Welcome the storm
Eee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
Words without meaning
Accept the storm
Beloved hear my love, so awesome
So strong, look at you
Great twister, tornado
Eeee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
Raging thunder train
My heart is alive, hear my song
Great twisting fingered down
Destruction your path
But you come from the awesome sky
Eeee-i-i-ohoway-an-ya a'hey
