Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer is a disease that occurs when cells in the breast start to grow abnormally, leaving no room for normal cells to grow. These mutated cells clump and form a malignant tumor, which is cancer. This disease can possibly spread to other organs in the body by traveling through the bloodstream or lymph nodes.

Breast Cancer is the number one cause of death in women ages forty and fifty-five.

Every three minutes a woman is diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

This year alone 211,000 new cases of Breast Cancer are expected in the United States.
