Races

A very rare race/sub race. A kind of hybrid of both the elves and the shapeshifters. They stand, generally, taller than most and possess great natural power. Many Devieras look different. Some have scales, some are small, some have tails, some do not. They are a very varied subspecies.

A reptilious creature with various aspects of other creatures. They have lion's claws, the tail of a serpent, wings, and a scaly skin. Some dragons possess the ability to shapeshift into a human form.

A member of a humanoid race, much like humans, but generally living underground or in mountainous areas. Here they have heaped up countless treasures of gold, silver, and precious stones, and pass their time in fabricating costly armor. They are famed miners and smiths, although like humans, they specialize in any number of trades. Generally shorter than humans, they are on average stockier and hairier, usually sporting a full beard.

A human-like race with long flattened triangular ears that stick out, and typically tall and thin body structures. This race has a history of conflict with the Orcish & Kitsune races, mainly over the occupation of lands. Their skill with bows and sword fighting have superseded their place in the world of economics and business.

Humans have an erect body carriage that frees the upper limbs for manipulating objects, a highly developed brain and consequent capacity for abstract reasoning, speech and language.

An ancient race of supernatural beings, usually depicted with both snake and human attributes. Being able to morph (or shapeshift) between the two states causes less conflict when seen by other races, as the Naga are outcasted and hated in the history of Galylle because of a war that broke out many centuries ago. Very few of the Naga possess the ability to interchange their physical state which makes it difficult for the Naga to communicate with the outside world.

A race of humanoid beings, fierce and cruel monsters, that eat human flesh. They are also shy and cowardly which makes it easy to defeat them. Sometimes associated with the Orcs and Trolls.

A humanoid, roughly human-sized, ugly, and filthy race. Although not dim-witted, they are portrayed as dull and miserable beings, who are only able to destroy, not to create. Sworn enemy of the Elves and the Timahki tribes.

The Rami are a small race, comprised mainly of magic users. They resemble chipmunks somewhat but with their many skills of wizardry, the Rami are not as easily pushed around as they seem.

Kitsune are a fox-like race that have ability to take the shape of a human. The Kitsune have the abilities to possess people, the ability to breathe or otherwise create fire, the power to manifest in dreams, and the ability to create illusions.
A Skin-Walker is a person who can travel in the shape of an animal and learn secrets or take on certain characteristics of an animal. The person is then said to be wearing that animal's hide.

Otherwise known as the 'Ancient Ones'. The Sinthos, a proud race who resembled the humans, are now extinct. However it is thought that there are still some who carry the diluted blood of the Sinthos in their veins. The Sinthos possessed great knowledge of the world of Galylle but were wiped out many centuries ago in a great war. Each Sinthos had unique abilities, some could turn invisible, others could produce fire from the air.

A wolf-like race that can stand on either two or all four legs as it wishes. Referred to by some as the 'Wolves of the Night', as they have smooth navy-coloured fur that is like the night itself.

Very large (around 9 feet tall) and immensely strong humanoids of poor intellect. They are divided in many kinds: hill trolls, mountain trolls, snow trolls, cave trolls and stone trolls. Some trolls turn into stone when exposed to sunlight.
