The 70th Week of Daniel
The 70th week begins......First, I have to say a word about exegesis. I expect that you have read the bible, in any form. Each and every translation out there is the Word of the Lord. The many translations may read somewhat different, but, a variety of translations is useful for understanding the Word of God. Useful, not exclusive. All translations, together, are the Word of God. God preserved His word for all time. The bodily form of the word, is the Word, which is Jesus. Jesus, the Christ of God, is found in every translation in every tongue of every people in every nation of the world.
As it should be, everyone must hear the Word of the Lord. So, no matter what bible you have read, the truth God wanted to show you, the meaning he wanted to convey, and the knowledge that you need are there. Each of the many translations read a little different from each other because the individual translator is just that, an individual. God made, and perfect for his task. God gave each translator of His Word special insight and a heart for God so that the translator is without reproach in his job of bringing the truth of God to the people of the world.
If you have and use a concordance, good. If you don't have one you should get one. I am going to assume that you have read the bible and I shouldn't have to quote chapter and verse for you. You will hear the Word when it is quoted and you can look it up for yourself, if you have a concordance. You will also notice the truth when I write it on these pages and you will feel it in your spirit. It's up to every individual to work out thier own salavation, it's up to every individual to recieve Jesus in thier own heart. I can't do it for you and neither can anyone else. That is not to say that I can't tell you how to recieve Jesus. I'm sure that you have heard that if you confess with your mouth Jesus' name, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. You can do it now, or whenever, or you can just keep reading.
I'm going to interpret the scripture as it is written, in the normal sense with only the Greek and Hebrew dictionaries as helps. I am not going to quote chapter and verse for you but I will give the general area where you can find the scriptures, in particular. I take the Word as a whole. No one scripture supersedes another; contradictions come about only when the understanding of the reader is incomplete; and in rare cases only does a single verse contain a whole truth, otherwise, no single verse contains a whole truth, and we need to have an understanding of the entire passage to see how the verse fits with the whole Word of God.
That said: The 70th week begins.......
