Stronghold of Raven’s Cove

Greetings and well wishes to all. Things are starting to look better and better for reaching our goal of becoming a barony. We have come a long way over the past nine months plus. Granted we have much further to go; however, I do not foresee any major difficulties ahead. We are the ones in charge of our own destiny. We are the ones that will ‘make us’ or ‘break us’. And we have put too much effort into this drive to let anything slow us down or stop us.

At this time, information is rather abundant. However, we may not get it out to everyone every time. Therefore, your help is desperately needed. I would ask each of you to make every effort to make plans to attend the populace meetings when they are scheduled. This will be your barony just as much as anyone else’s. If you don’t make your desires known, who else will. If you can’t make a meeting, let your seneschal know what you want. If you can’t do this little bit for yourself than please do not complain if something is not done the way you thought it should have been done.

Words of Wisdom from Seareach’s Seneschal

Greetings to you this day from the fair shore of Seareach!

My heart was filled with gladness as we received the wonderful news of our polling results from our Kingdom Seneschal, Master Alan Gravesend and Deputy Kingdom Seneschal, Lord Corwyn Sinister. Their well wishes go with these results to Their Royal Majesties for their review. We all anxiously await word from the Crowns.

I ask that you take Lord Calledon’s words to heart. Now IS NOT the time to sit back and wait. We must move forward with the business of being a Barony. We have much to do and need everyone’s support and participation in the months to come.

As you have read elsewhere in this missive, a selection process for choosing our officers will take place on the Sunday of Sheep Raids (April 30th). I encourage all to join together and show their support for these gentles who have stepped up to serve our Barony.

Sheep Raids promises once again to be a great event, as Lady Tessa, our Autocrat, will attest. Get your reservations in now, as Lady Emma’s feast is sure to sell out quickly.
