At the Renton Golf Course - 20 miles south of Brantford
October 1st and October 2nd, 2002 - Great Lakes Tour - Tour Championship Pro Am
The Great Lakes Tour (GLT) will be hosting their Tour Championship on
October 1st and October 2nd at
the Brantford Golf and Country Club.
The Great Lakes Tour (GLT) is Southern Ontario's only professional
golf tour that is open to professional golfers,
including males, females and seniors.
The top 21 golfers from the tour's Order of Merit plus four exemptions will compete
for the prestigious "Moe Norman Cup".
On October 1st, there will be a Pro Am event with teams of three amateurs
joining one of the Professionals.
Part of the proceeds of this day will be donated to Participation House Brantford,
a not for profit charitable organization that supports individuals with physical disabilities
throughout Brant County.
Throughout the Pro Am day there will be "GLT Challenge shots" giving players an opportunity to
test their skill and win fabulous prizes.
