B efore you make password protected pages, we feel obligated to advise you that if your pages are with Geocities, they do not allow password protected pages. If they find them within your site, they will delete your account, no questions asked!

T his is an excellent script if you have password protected pages with numerous people that have access to your protected pages. The source code is encrypted so the passwords used are not recognizable if viewed. You can either save this page to your favorites or build this script for your own pages.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and java scripts, this is a very easy one part copy and paste code with no reconfigurations at all. Just paste it into the <BODY> section of your document where you want it to appear and you are done. You can now start to build your own login boxes for your password protected pages.

A s silly as this may sound, it has happened too many times. The page you place the login box on is "Not" the page you want to be protected. Either build a separate page just for login or add it to a pre-existing non protected page.
