Loading time ~ how long did it take to load the page ~ Tested in IE5.5, IE6.0, Netscape7.02, Netscape8.0, Opera8.0 and Firefox1.0.4

T his script will show how long it takes a page to load. A timer starts when the page begins to parse (open) and ends when it has completed loading all of the content.

W e have tested the code in IE6.0, Firefox1.0.5, Opera8.0 and Netscape7.02 and Netscape8.0. This script worked well in all platforms with no variations observed.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and javascripts, this is an easy two part copy and paste code that goes in both the <HEAD> and <BODY> sections of your document with actually "No" other than a possible cosmetic change to the default font (as defined within your system) and color of the message. This reconfiguration goes in the <BODY> section of code. See below on where and howto add the complete font tag:
