T his is actually quite easy to put this drop down link menu on your page depending on your knowledge of HTML and Java scripts. This script is a two part code that one part goes in the <HEAD> section and the second part goes in the <BODY> section of your HTML document. Go to the below link to get the code to put in your page. The one on this page is called the "Drop Down Link Menu and it has a "Go" button. There are a few scripts there you can choose from depending on which one you prefer.
W e have tested the code in IE5.5, IE6, Netscape4.08 and Netscape7.0. This script worked well in all platforms tested with no variations observed.
T here will be some reconfigurations within the code to set the links up to where "You" want them to go. By this we mean you will have to change the URL's that are there to your URL's of your choice.
B
y looking at the code you will be able to see the original URL paths that you need to change to your own URL's. We did not feel that this script at the present time really warrants a tutorial to go with it. The script itself is very self explanitory. There are no reconfigurations in the <HEAD> section. In the original code there are either 6 or 7 links. You can change the number of them to fit your needs if you want.
