T his script is an elegant solution for those that want to add a "Send this Page to a Friend" feature to their site. Works in most browsers and even in frames.
W e have tested the code in IE5.5, IE6.0, Firefox1.0.4, Opera8.0 and Netscape7.02 and Netscape8.0. This script worked well in all platforms with a (1) variation observed in Netscape8.0.
- In Netscape8.0 the variation observed was when the email server opened and the text in the email body reads:
You%20can%20see%20this%20page%20at%3A%20http%
3A //www With The Page URL Here

- This variation do not effect the script in any way.
D epending on your knowledge of HTML and java script, this is an easy, one step copy and paste code with actually "No" reconfigurations. Just copy and paste the entire code anywhere in the <BODY> section you want this effect to appear. All you need to do is once you click the " " link and your default email application appears, is to add the addresses you want the page link to be sent. To answer your question, the answer is "No", you do not have to add the page URL that this code is on, it will automatically add the correct page address.
