T his script is an Area Calculator that will work out the area for several 2D shapes. The simple interface is easy to use. It is basically self explained so we feel there is no need for any instructions in the operation of this area calculator. W
e have also included a
"Size Converter" for your convenience. You can see this link "Floating" on the right side of your screen in IE and Netscape 4.0 but Not in Netscape 7.02.
You can also see the Size Converter script at the below link. Besides getting the size
converter script, you can get the script and howto make the floating link which is constantly visible
even as you scroll. W e have tested the code in IE5.5, IE6, Netscape4.08 and Netscape7.02. This script worked well in all platforms with the exception of Netscape4.08 and Netscape7.02 where it will "Not" work. D epending on your knowledge of HTML and java scripts, this is an easy one step, copy and paste code as a complete HTML document. Basically the only reconfiguration needed is to add a complete <BODY> tag. Reason being is that is does not have one. All it has for a <BODY> tag is the margin settings with no background color, text color, link color, etc. See the below for where and howto insert the complete <BODY>. Default Body Tag Notice the lack of page color attributes </head> Reconfigured Body Tag Now Notice the page color attributes </head> A s you can see in the above reconfigured <BODY> tag, where we have the ? is where you will insert the six digit HEX code for the colors of your choice to blend in with your pages as we did. O ther than the above reconfiguration, the script does not have any other reconfigurations other than cosmetic font (text) color that is self explained as you study the code. I
