Day 3
Monday July 30, 2012
Today we started off by getting up early and heading out to the pool area. The pool area is pretty nice here and quite large. We spent 2-3 hours here before heading back up to the room to get ready for the rest of our day.

Once we were showered up and ready to rip we hit the Copper Cactus Grille for lunch. I got the cheese steak again and Dee got the bacon cheeseburger. For dessert she had a slice of carrot cake and I got a brownie that I didn't need but it sure was good.

Once we were fed it was off to the casino again to try our luck. We started out with some crappy VP games and did ok. No wins but, no major losses. Next we tried the electronic roulette and didn't get many hits tonight. This is a good time killer and a good low limit game though. Next up we played the new Clue slots. Dee hit a bonus round and scored over 3300 coins and finished up her afternoon with a 75¢ win. I wasn't so lucky dropping close to $80 this afternoon.

We came up here to the room to take a break and I watched WWE Monday Night Raw and Dee caught a nap. Once we reenergized we went back downstairs.

For an evening snack we hit the diamond lounge again. Today we ordered the 9 piece chicken wings, they were good and filling.

Up next it was more casino action with some penny slots and lower limit, yet crappy video poker. I left Dee at the bank she played last night and I went over to the video craps game. I hovered close to even most of the time but then dropped a few bucks before going and checking on Dee. She was hovering around even as she almost always does so I went back to the craps machine where things weren't nearly as good as they were before. Back over to the video poker machines and joined Dee where I proceeded to get my ass kicked. She was still hovering when I got back but then got killed as soon as I sat down. The results here at Ak-Chin were not good.

Dee wanted some late night breakfast so we ran over to the Copper Cactus Grille and grabbed some food. She got scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and a hash brown all for just $5.

Back up to the room after being beaten down we packed up some of our stuff for tomorrow's move and finally got to bed around 1am.

Total win/loss for the day -$550
Total Comps for the day $126
