Just in case anyone still looks at this... Warsport is officially dead. Gamespy apparently will not continue the great service provided by mplayer. If you want to help warsport email lava urchin@hotmail.com and get everyone you can to email lavaurchin saying they want to support warsport. If he gets 25 people then it's possible. Also he's working on getting www.warsport.com so check there once in awhile. So long people!
D-Bad (aka Ice-Berg among other things) has officially left WP. He is possibly joining BW. This leaves a co-cap slot open. I will try to contact White Fang about this, as co-cap is nothing small I guess. I will keep you updated.
Some good and bad news. Starting with the bad, Barq has officially moved on to greener pastures. He's a member of the ever so deadly TC. Also Nightmare is out of commission indefinetly due to his isp going south.
The good news: Add yet another trophy to WP's very crowded case. Born and I yesterday won the 2v2 ODE event in Warsport. Took 4 games to win it, with the final one being a showdown against Kyle and Method. I also won the trivia along with TC Triple H and some guy 000-0000 or some such. Denver and Master also participated along with Jim and Hart to include some of the vets present.
Oh and on a side note. I just recently discovered I made it into a beta for a game called strifeshadow. The site for it is at www.ethermoon.com, and its a RTS some what like starcraft in nature.
Added Gfresh15 to Wolfpack. Everyone please welcome him, he's a rising star in my opinion. Very active and improving every day. Also maybe D-Bad is considering or has left wp? Please tell me Bad! Unless these are just rumors, which I hope. There's a big tourney, 2on2 tomorrow. Hope you are there. There's more to talk about, but don't have much time.
Interesting post in the Warsport forums. I've copied it to the information page. It's a huge list of all the clans that were in Warsport. The guy gets most of them, and is a little inaccurate here and there. But it's still a very good job. Check it out!
Saw Pure.Rage yesterday. He had the videocard-warsport problems many have experienced before. Regrettably, we could not help him. I got his email though, so not all is lost. He was using a GeForce2 or something along those lines. If you find anyone using that card, and has ws working, try to find what drivers they use. Who makes GeForce anyways? NVIDIA? oh what am I talking about, NVIDIA owns almost all of the video card industry.
No real news to report. We've played 1 more NWL game, and lost. Seems as though TC is a really strong clan. Well, rather, Kyle/Method are good. Warsport is really starting to pick up now. Regular newer players such as hotboy, Kleo, Outlaws have contributed mostly to this. TGF is now part of NWL, so is BW. I'd suggest trying to play these two at least once. This should take precedent over playing TC again. We want NWL to be varied and all.
WP played 3 games on NWL against TC. First game was very close, a loss, 2nd game was a pathetic performance by WP, and the 3rd was revenge for the wolves. We lead in points but are 1-2, whereas TC is 2-1. Congrats to Kyle, Method, and thanks goto Slider, and our own Nightmare.
The issue of NWL does have some effect on my page. Whether to continue the "clan matches" section. If other WP members really want this, I'll include it. I'll have to edit it however. Perhaps do away with the old games? or divide it to pre/post NWL sections. We'll see.

Okay, I'd like to encourage all WP members to try to get an NWL game asap. I've just acquired the password from icewolf. Ask me for it anytime, because any member can do a game submission.

Icewolf-1 has re-created NWL. Well in actually it operates more like WSC than the failed NWL did. This means clans will participate. And don't worry, I've already signed up Wolfpack. The link to his site has been added to the links page. I hope this league succeeds. Also I'm sure any WP member has authorization to play an "official" game. Make sure to take screen shots before and after the game ends!!!

Oh, great news to report! Been a while since its happened, but the pack just played a clan match, and beat the shit outta BW - 2on2. It was quite fun, thanks much to hartdart and i.rs for the challenge. Congrats to Nightmare on his beating of ass. All this was done without even being allies.
