Well no real news to report. I've been slowly adding graphics pretty much all around. Will continue until I use up alot of space, which I doubt will happen.
Also I would officially like to say "fuck hotmail!" right here. I am pretty much done with that service. Yesterday, I logged in after not checking my account for only a week and you would not believe the amount of junk e-mail was there. And hotmail does not have any "select all" or some such to clear the inbox. Well the page was grossly large that explorer actually froze up when i tried to select a check box next to an email (in order to delete it). So don't bother emailing my address as seen on the members page, I'll find another email when I've got the time.
Thanks much to Hartdart for finding Snooka's NAW site. I've added it to the links page. I know we all get tired of explaining stuff to newbies time and again. This site is pretty comprehensive, just have the newbies click on the "newbies" or "tutorial" links in there. In spite of the fact that he was a major jerk, often doesn't even know what he's talking about, and even has reference to yours truly, this site should still help newbies. It's a bit crude and a little dated, but he includes a lot of graphics and explains all the basics along with the popular strategies.
Ok some important news to add. Apparently the TNT-2 technology drivers aren't the only ones with problems. I recently encountered Serial-Man, and he had the same stacked-men, bad mouse cursor, boot from game problem that I and several others have had. However his original video drivers (which I assume, as mine do, match with his hardware specs) were NVIDIA LT. Same company, different technology I assume. He downloaded the 208's but they did not function for warsport properly. Anyone who has an NVIDIA LT card and has it working in warsport, please make a post in Warsport's forum!!!
Secondly, this will probably be more significant for most of you loyal Warsport warriors. I just recently had an extensive conversation with someone in the know, White-Dwarf, about gamespy's affect upon WS. Some basic crap includes the only prize for koths and other such tournaments will now be free registration on Gamespy (a one-time deal normally costing 20 bucks). A final result of this merger, will probably be the two interfaces joining into one. This will take several years though. One key thing, is that the techs from mplayer are meeting to try to figure out how to keep the users most happy. This is where we fit in. Make it known that you will be VERY unhappy if Warsport gets axed! I've included a link to the gamespy forums, this is where you can have a voice.
Big changes! Added a links/downloads page. This has WSinst, and those pesky 208 drivers with instructions. Not much else to announce, I'll probably be adding more. If i do it will be big, and take some time. It will also be more Warsport based and less Wolfpack based.
A recent conversation with "the celebrity" The Chairman, reveals that he is willing to give us maybe a Wax The Wizards event to boost Warsport attendance. He also stated that for a community to receive a koth it needs a population of 30-50 minimum. Don't ask me what a population technically is or why a minimum is a range, because I'd know as much as you. But this is good news.
In case some of you still check the site, Gamespy recently bought mplayer, about a month ago. This could be a deathblow for warsport or it could be something that saves it. We as a community can have a major effect on this. I'll have some more on this later.
This site will undergo some large changes soon. I've decided that the clan itself isn't so important in Warsport. Yes, it will still be the clan's site, and I'm sure fang wants it to continue. However, this site will now be dedicated to other warsport facets. Some changes will merely be asthetic, such as a change on this news page, and addition of some other pages. Plus I really need to make a news archive! This page is getting messy. Stay posted.

Ya I know its a been awhile since I've updated, but there's been no real news to report. Just one items right now, for those of you in WP that have not been coming to warsport you will be turned to inactive soon. Perhaps some of the NEW members may be removed eventually. This will require a discussion with Fang. The members to be placed inactive are: Knightwolf, Barq, Camando.
Some news, its been awhile. The clan EOL has collapsed. Former members such as Cutie have joined sSs. I'm certain Pyschotic will join AA. And most importantly, xNIGHTMAREx is now a member of the pack. AwooooOOooo! Also Azzkicker (aka camando) is also a wolf. There is also a possibility of Iceman joining wolfpack. Due to this influx of new members, the boss has laid down the law. Only 10 active wolves will be on the pack currently.
Also, not that it irritates me too much. But where have Barq and Knight gone? If you guys dont stay around in warsport and actually play games, I'm thinking of putting you as inactive! Fang? clan meeting on this perhaps?
A lot of news to report today. Another clan challenge was accepted against the evil BW. WP players Born and myself promptly kicked their asses. Thanks alot to Blitz and Hart for playing a close game (really was).
WP has lost a member today in Paul.Wight. He has joined the new revival clan sSs. Yep, they've restarted. Master P has come back to WS with a vengeance. Denver is also a member of this clan. They look to pose some serious future game challenges. Good luck Paul and sSs.
The last clan meeting was canceled I suppose as no one showed. Perhaps give me a rescheduling Fang? Also, I will not be on WS this week from Thursday-Sunday due to a vacation trip. Feel free to play those clan matches though! Just save the screenshots.
Also, in case you still haven't heard. WS KOTH is returning in about two months. We need to all behave during this event to retain it in WS.
Final thing! Incited by a suggestion form Barqy, I'd like to make individual pages for each wop. Please write a brief paragraph with some basic information about yourself (ie. name, age, location) along with a fairly good description of what you have done in Warsport. You should list former clans, how long you've played, any accomplishments. Even qualifying once for a KOTH would be one, or being part of a clan with a good history in WSC. Say no more than you wish to be revealed.
A clan match page has been added. Some pictures updated. Recent first match to go on this site is a Victory! for wolfpack. Thanks goto Born and Barq for their win, and thanks also to EOL for their participation.
Also, once you check the clan page you'll notice some totaling at the bottom. I want to work on a weighted system for measuring the clans overrall strength in clan matches. This would total 2on2s, 3on3s, and 4on4s. Now this could either just simply be... give values of 2, 3, and 4 for each game. But I'm not sure this is the most accurate way. I will bring this up at the clan meeting, thank you.
And I'll eventually be deleting old news, or archiving it maybe.

If you are another clan, don't worry about scheduling challenges, just meet with 2+ WP members and have a "clan match". We'll post the results if we get them. Take screenshots!

Wolfpack has moved, and has plans to rebuild itself along with the Warsport community. Our current goal should be to get enough membership to regularly play EOL in clan matches. To do this, Wolfpack feels that we should recruit newbies and those veterans who have no clan. (TC fallout possibly.
The Triple-H memorial went well, with no major incidents. A rarity for WS events. Congratulations are due to Suicidal Ant for winning the 1on1 tournament, and Pyschotic Ant and his ally (heh forgot, will correct) for winning the 2on2 tournament.
This page will be kept simple for the time being, for I lack serious html knowledge and don't worry about impressing much either. If we find another webmaster who can impress and has the energy to, this page will be more impressive. Don't worry however Fang, I'll get some images and such hehe.
