Essential Energy Balancing II author: Diane Stein The Crossing Press 2003 ISBN #1-58091-154-4 For me, any mention of Diane Stein brings up images surrounding her quintessential work Essential Reiki. She was ahead of her time then, and she is ahead of her time now. Essential Energy Balancing II is the fourth in a proposed series of five books on Healing The Goddess, and bringing Goddess energy into being at this time. (The other books in this series are Essential Energy Balancing, We Are The Angels, and Reliance On The Light: Psychic Protection With The Lords Of Karma and The Goddess.) Essential Energy Balancing III is in the works, and will soon follow. This book is about Goddess energy - how it came about, how it was lost, and why it is essential at this time for the Goddess energy to be reintroduced to bring balance to the earth. This book is also centered about the path to ascension, and clearing all of our karma - earth related and beyond, so that our spirits can ascend. One needs to come to a book like this with an open mind and an open heart - for it is a workbook, meant to be used, and not to simply grace coffee tables. Stein has done a very good job of explaining what karma is, and how and why we want to release it. It was interesting for me to hear about the concept in galactic karma - it makes perfect sense, karma is not just a physical, earthly phenomenon, but I have never seen this concept presented elsewhere. Stein discusses our energy selves - from our physical self, through our etheric double, astral twin, higher self, essence self, Goddess self/oversoul all the way to the Goddess. The focus of this book is that ascension means the return of the Goddess in energy form to the earth. This is where earth will receive her healing. Stein also focuses on the concept that at this time it is possible to ask a specific Goddess to come to us as a "walk in" - to ask them to share our physical shells in this lifetime. To walk with the energy of a Goddess in this lifetime is quite a mind opening concept - and one that can definitely be attained by any woman that wishes to do so. (Stein notes that each of us carry male and female energy, but that a Goddess would not feel comfortable "walking in" to a male body.) Stein presents considerable information in this book about energy forms, Goddess history, consorts, and how duality originally came about. She also has a strong focus on negativity, negative energy and thought, and evil as an absolute. This is what we are releasing - so while we need to be aware of it, it is not something that we should fear. Through the series of individual processes presented in this book, we can release and heal our karma. (Note: If you intend to do the work, you need to have access to her first books, where the process of releasing karma begins.) One of the concepts presented in is that of asking for the reincarnation of the soul of a pet that has departed into a new pet. I found this astounding - not "that" it can be done, but that we can ask for it purposefully! I think all animal lovers have experienced what I have experienced, in that at some point in their lives they new for certain that an animal that came into their lives was carrying the soul of a deeply loved pet that had departed the earthly plane. The processes that Stein presents includes releasing Earth Karmic Contracts; Earth Negativity, Archangel Michael's Sword, Sheild and Chalice; Healing Core Soul Damage; Multidimensional Karmic Release; Karmic Dispensation; Karmic Renewal; Healing Dis-Ease; Connecting With The Light; Vibrational Sealing; Sealing The Planet and Planetary Activation. There are numerous charts throughout the book that make understanding the concepts Stein presetns very easy to understand. The individual release processes are written down word for word (they need to be followed exactly), and are easily comprehended. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to work on their spirituality, especially if they want to connect with Goddess energy. Stein has done for Goddess energy what she did for Reiki - she has opened it up so that it can be understood and lived.
