A Treasury Of Inner Wisdom
edited by Linda Carwin Tomchin Hay House Inc. 1990 ISBN# 1-56170-045-2 The title for this book says it all: "A Treasury Of Inner Wisdom"! This is a wonderfully gentle book, filled with common sense and caring. Louise L. Hay is a metaphysical lecturer and teacher that uses her work to help people connect with their own inner resources, and realize the full potential of their own creativity and ability to act as catalysts for their own personal growth and self-healing. From the book:
Our hearts are the center of our power, I have learned that we create easily and effortlessly when we let our thoughts come from the loving space of the heart. Claim your power now. 1 Ms Hay has used excerpts from her lectures, along with meditations and spiritual treatments to cover a wide range of issues - issues that we all face at some point in our lives. Some of the subjects covered are: Abundance, Acceptance, Anger, Change, Choice, Family, Forgiveness, Grief, Guilt, Infinite Power, Spirit, Unconditional Love, Working Together and World Community. Each section is kept short and concise, while offering unique wisdom to those choosing to work with the book. From the book:
The more we I Am A Yes Person
This book is a wonderful tool for personal empowerment. It can be used on a personal basis, or as a tool in family settings or other group settings, such as Men's/Women's Study Groups, or even teen/pre-teen study groups. When we see where our thoughts are coming from, we can silence the internal critic that blocks our personal growth and access our internal child, who wants to support us in all things. It would also be very easy to identify a problem area and locate in this book a number of different sections that can be used to work through the area. This is a gentle tool for empowerment, and I highly recommend it to everyone. Since it is holiday time, I am also going to suggest that this book would make a wonderful present for everyone on your list! Thank you for visiting my Personal Empowerment page. May your day be Blessed.
