The Annual Holiday party is always so much fun as it is the one time out of the year all the Marilyn Remembered Members are able to attend. Among the many special guests that were in attendance, Photographer George Barris, Marilyn stand in/actress Evelyn Moriarty, Some Like It Hot Costar Penny McGuiggan , dancer/actress Valentina Oumansky, 1950's Pinup Glamour Girl Gloria Pall and actress/singer Hadda Brooks.

The party began at 5pm and ended around 9pm. We started off with wonderful yummies including, (but not limited too); Raviolis, chicken, shrimp, hummus and garlic bread. Then we moved on to desserts. Every kind of dessert imaginable was featured on the dessert table, including a very special cake provided by Kim Goodwin that featured Marilyn Monroe in the "Red Velvet" pose! It was completely appropriate that Tom Kelley Jr. do the honors of cutting the cake as his father was the one who took the original "Red Velvet" pictures of Marilyn! After our feasting we held the White Elephant gift exchange, which provided us with a full hour of laughs. Many of the "gifts" received where so tacky that I'm sure we will see them around at next years White Elephant gift exchange! And before we left we got a very special unexpected treat by singer/actress Hadda Brooks. Hadda honored us with her piano playing and singing when she performed three wonderful songs. She was such a delight to listen to that the audience had her do an encore before she left. The evening was so enjoyable and made us all feel ready for the Holiday Season!
