The year 2000 will be one of the greatest years ever for coaster riders across the world. Not just because of the record breaking coasters like Millenium Force and new prototyes like Stealth but because of the amount of new wooden coasters being built. A major contributer to this wooden coaster revival is Custom Coasters International. Custom Coasters is known for their fantastic wooden coasters which have plenty of "airtime". They have been very busy this offseason building coasters for parks across the USA. Among their new woodies is Holiday World's Legend, Myrtle Beach's Hurricane, Six Flags St. Louis's Boss, and Six Flags Ohio's Villain.

The Villain will be located in Six Flags Ohio's Coyote Creek section towering 120 feet into the sky. It's speed will top out at around 60mph and it's track is expected to be about 4,000 feet long. This out-and-back woody will be very similar to Knott's Berry Farm's GhostRider. The Villain's trains will be built by Gesthalter.
Construction on the Villain is well underway and is expected to open sometime this spring along with Six Flags Ohio's Batman: Knight Flight and Superman: The Ultimate Escape.
