This summer Holiday World unveiled plans for their 2000 season.They are building a $3 million coaster called The Legend. It is themed around The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, a popular halloween story about a small town school teacher that is chased into the woods by the Headless Horseman. The teacher was never found again.
The Legend races through the hilly woods of Holiday World, making the riders feel like they are being chased by the infamous Headless Horseman. This Custom Coasters woodie starts off with a 113 foot drop reaching speeds up to 58 mph. The Legend will feature a rare 77 foot spiral drop, and will go through four tunnels. The Legend is sure to be another Custom Coasters classic.

Construction began back in July and is well underway. It will be located in Holiday World's halloween section.
