Six Flags Ohio and Intamin are joining hands this off-season to build a U-shaped LIM ( Linear Induction Motorpowered) coaster called Superman Ultimate Escape. This coaster will be similar to Japans Linear Gale coaster.
After you board Superman Ultimate Escape you will be blasted forward at 70mph, then you will go into a 180 foot vertical climb with a corkscrew twist. Once the train reaches the top it will fall backwards racing past the station and will go into another vertical tower.
Superman Ultimate Escape is one of four new coasters being added to Six Flags Ohio, formally known as Geauga Lake.Among the other three new coasters is Batman Knight Flight, a B&M "floorless" coaster, Villian, a Custom Coasters woody, and the Road Runner Express, a family coaster. All of these rides are expected to be ready when the park opens this spring.Six Flags Ohio is also building a Hurricane Harbor waterpark for 2000.
