Swim out to the middle of the sea and swim to the bottom to fnd a sunken ship with an eel inside. Swim close to the eel and swim away luring the eel out. Swim in and open the chests in the right order to empty the water out of the ship. Now climb the side of the ship to get the star.
his star is similar to star one except you have to lure him out of a hole in the side under water. There is a star at the end of his tail. Swim near it to get the star but be quick, he'll swim back in.
There is now an under wat tunnel in the deep part of the sea. Swim through and make your way to the back of the cave where you'll find treasure chests. Watch out for the falling pillars. Open the cheats in the right order to reveal another star.
Mario once again must collect 8 red coins. Most are easy. They can be found in clams, and where the pink bob-omb is. For the two harder ones where the pink bob-omb is there is a platform in the water and to the left of that another structure. Jump on the other structure and hit the purple switch. It will creae platforms for you to run across. Get to the ship with out falling and Triple to get the last of the eight red coins. The sta is right there.
This star can be tough if you don't know how to do it. It can also be tough if you do know how to do it. :-) For this star you need to talk to the pink bob-omb and open the cannon. Now go get in the cannon which is located near the biginning of the course.
For this star you need the green switch cap, the metal cap. (See the switch block course guide here to see more on the metal cap.) Now go tothe under water cave and there will be a Metal cap box you may have previously seen when you got star 3. Get the cap and run out of the cave and down to the grate containing a star. With the metal cap you will be heavier and not float away from the bubbles. Walk in to get the star but be quick.
Collect 100 Coins. Don't forget the blue stomp block in the under water cave.
