Teresa had a conservative upbringing in Baltimore County, MD. The youngest of four, she was the only girl. She attended Catholic school until she started University at the Sonoma State University in Northern California, near her place of birth. Sonoma State is a leader in the humanistic psychology field, and is celebrated as a more conscious intellectual climate, which is also a leader in the environmental movement. She had her first radio show when she was 19. However, her first mystical awakening when she was between three or four years old. She began yoga and dance at age 9, teaching at age 17. Her shamanic studies began in elementary school via her inner guides & Native American influences in her childhood, but she soon met influential men and women who guided her dawning intuitive skills. Having studied with various teachers, wizards and healers since she was 18, Teresa is gifted with clairvoyance as well as clairaudience, & clairsentience. As a teacher, performing artist, author, and healer, she has learned, first hand, from the inside out, what healing is.
After working for years in Corporate America & Silicon Valley, she overcame being bedridden for ten years after a work-related injury forced her to completely change her lifestyle. She began to write pop songs with a five-time, Grammy-winning producer for about seven years, making meditation tv shows, and exploring her blossoming spiritual path. Her latest book is entitled, Waking Up as a Spiritual Being, about the journey of discovering & honoring one's spiritual life & development. Throughout her life, Teresa has experienced more than a dozen inexplicable, supernatural experiences. Once she realized that her corporate life must change, she dove into a more authentic examination of her skill sets.
Teresa has since then helped thousands of people, here and abroad, to reclaim their authentic expression for deeper fulfillment and better clarity in making decisions everyday. For over 20 years, she has been developing personal growth programs to address emotional and spiritual healing and development for men and women to consciously reclaim their dignity and live the life they choose. Her dating & relationship & holistic well-being programs as well as her enlightened leadership trainings are popular with executives from around the world. As a "global goddess" she incorporates gender & culture, with spiritual practices aimed at achieving optimal human & spiritual functioning.
Her ground-breaking program, Feng Shui Your Heart is the foundation for most of her work, as she teaches that both intellectual & spiritual development are usually only blocked by emotional distress. She has conducted events for Great Expectations, Sun Microsystems, Credit Suisse, Spirit Rock, & other renown enterprises. Teresa identifies with the term "dakini" in the context of spiritual teacher. Dakinis historically emphasized the heart-centered path of spiritual growth. As a dakini with a mystical background, she asks,
"What's your purpose?
How deeply can you love yourself?".
Then she reminds you,
"Keep breathing.
Remember the Light."
