FAITH STATEMENT

• That the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17).

• In one eternal God, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17; I John 5:7).

• In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:26-35), His atoning death (Luke 24:46-48), bodily resurrection (Luke 24:37-39), ascension (Mark 16:19; Luke 24:51; Acts 1:9), and glorious return for His Church, which is the Body of Christ (Matthew 24:30-31; 28:5-7; John 14:1-4; Colossians 1:18).

• That there is one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus, Who died for our redemption from sin and justification by faith in Him (I Timothy 2:5; II Corinthians 5:21; Romans 5:1).

• That salvation is a gift to all believers by grace through faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10).

• That the gift of the Holy Spirit is for every believer and that this gift is for Justification (I Corinthians 12:3), Sanctification (II Thessalonians 2:13; Galatians 5:16 & 25; Romans 8:1-14), Deliverance and the ability to deliver (Matthew 12:28; Mark 6:12-13), Truth and Revelation (John 14:17; 15:26), and Wisdom (I Corinthians 2:6-16; Ephesians 1:17; John 14:26), a Life of Prayer (Romans 8:26; Ephesians 6:18), and Eternal Life (Romans 8:2; 8:11; 8:16-19).

• In the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit which empowers believers to think like God (word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits), talk like God (prophecy, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues), and act like God (faith, working of miracles, and healing) (I Corinthians 12:4-11), and the nine fruits of the Spirit [love, joy peace, patience, temperance, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and meekness (Galatians 5:22-23)].

• In the resurrection of the dead; believers to life eternal, and unbelievers to eternal damnation (Daniel 12:2; Acts 24:15; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; I Corinthians 15: 20-26; 42-44; John 5:21-29; 1 John 5:10-12; Revelation 20:11-15).
